[Smoke Cool Cat]은 DJ이자 프로듀서인 Catbug가 오래 전부터 운영해왔던 이벤트 시리즈이자 라디오 스테이션 [Smoke Catnip]에서 주로 선보여왔던 재즈, 소울, 올드스쿨 힙합 기반의 컨템포러리 인스트루멘탈 뮤직을 60분 분량의 DJ MIX로 엮어낸 카세트테이프 앨범이다.

인스트루멘탈 음악이 전성기를 이루었던 90년대 바이브를 재현하는 [Smoke Cool Cat]의 커버 아트워크는 페인팅과 디지털 작업을 기반으로 활동 중인 일러스트레이터 진구 Jingoo가 참여했다.

캣버그 Catbug는 DJ이자 프로듀서로 라디오 스테이션 [Smoke Catnip]을 운영하고 있으며 현재 Mixmag Korea 에디터로도 활동중이다.

진구 JINGOO는 페인팅과 디지털 작업을 기반으로 그림을 그리는 일러스트레이터이다. 자신만의 캐릭터를 중심으로 다양한 콘텐츠를 만들어가고 있다.
