“This is a high energy but vibey mix with unreleased & new tunes that friends have recently sent me. It also includes half the first Worst Behavior compilation and a forthcoming tune off Vol.2. I’m definitely leaning heavily into “halftime “vibes vs my usual 160 mixes (with SUBLIMATE in mind), not as much footwork in this one.“

Anna Morgan is a producer, DJ, label head, and curator moving between NYC & LA. She is a connoisseur of globally minded low-end frequencies exploring the junction of urban and tribal. She is Co-founder of the NYC based  Worst Behavior Recs Label/Promo company, as well as a curator & contributor to the Footwork Jungle Blog. As a sonic adventurer she highlights urban diasporic stories while catering to dance enthusiasts, spanning a variety of genres.

A new series of dj sets featuring old school and new school Mallabel artists whom we believe in and support. 

Mallabel is all about the music & the artist,  and this mix series highlights exactly why we believe in and support these artists; Because they bring a unique approach to the game and absolute FIRE pon the dance floor!

One such artist is one of our favorite dj/producers,  and one whom we’re def keeping a close eye on in 2020, the inimitable Kanizzle! This mix is following closely on the heels of our 6Blocc TBT mix and this set is giving the man a run for his money!

Returning to SmallPrint Recordings for the first time since 2018, Edinburgh based Khromi unveils 'Astral Dimensions', his debut LP and most ambitious record to date. Today I have the pleasure of presenting the record's title track, just one of ten original, star gazing tracks rooted in the world of deep dubstep, including a couple of wicked collaborations.

Salt Lake City native and recent San Diego transplant Turtleboy has been curating bass music sets for close to a decade. This Smoke Siignals Veteran has been pushing underground sounds of bass music all over the West Coast and various bass music festivals including the notorious Emissions, Bamboo Bass, and Serenity Gathering festivals. 

Currently in Southern California he’s a newly added resident of the long time running BrokenBeat crew while running shows under his L.V.C.O. collective as well. His bass music roots span anywhere from drum and bass to glitch-hop to some of the more eerie and experimental styles of electronic music. A mixtape junkie at heart, this mix in particular showcases his current tastes in the finest of halftime, west coast bass, juke, and dnb.
