In Caro’s own words: 

“There’s a sort of mystic quality to low places, everything flows there and by law of nature can’t be destroyed, so it is transformed. 
How long it lingers there is different for every thing… pollen swirling in swampy waters, fog coating salty white wash, steam crawling up though the hemlocks. Within a few moments, or a few hours, everythings changed. And it all looks different in the light.” 

Low Lands was produced, arranged and recorded entirely on hardware. Caro is non-binary using they/them pronouns, living and making on unceded and traditional Sinixt Territory.

He has been a welcome character of the West Coast bass scene for years and recently has been making his mark as a skilled DJ and producer. He's been working on sounds that blend new art forms with northern and ancestral elements, crafting a unique sound rooted in bleeding-edge West Coast bass music. He was just signed to Triple A Agency, a new collective of the west coast's best, so keep your ears peeled for lots of new music soon.

Murder Mix 031 is curated by Heisty, one of the founding members and resident DJs of the Portland based music collective and record label, Sublimate. Heisty and the crew have been holding down a monthly residency since 2014 pushing those bass heavy, DnB, Jungle, Halftime, and Dubstep sounds. He has helped evolve the Sublimate brand into a record label, event series, and a well-respected beacon for bass music in the Pacific Northwest and is now a part of the newly formed Triple A Agency which is pushing some of the freshest artists around the world.
