Inner Compass

Paul Goldschmidt will be a free agent upon the conclusion of the 2019 MLB season. Hence, there is some uncertainty surrounding his future as an Arizona Diamondback.

His potential departure has brought me an incredible dread. But more importantly--it has enlightened me with a fresh appreciation for the man who allowed me to be passionate about baseball as an Arizonan.

Let this be my ode to him.
