This is a new remix of the title tune from my 1989 CD "2B NAMED LATER" which will be re-released in Japan later this year. With the GREAT rhythm section of Steve Ferrone on drums and Darryl Jones on bass, currently with Tom Petty and the Rolling Stones respectively.

Gorillaz Plastic Beach Album Mix 2010

This one features my live band, The County: Quentin Joseph on drums, Topher Mohr on guitar, Quincy McCrary on piano, and Joe Abrams on bass. It was recorded live in a radio station studio somewhere during our Winter 2010 US tour. The tapes recently surfaced, but nobody can remember exactly where we were. The song is originally by The Isley Brothers, and that’s the only version I was familiar with until we started playing it in our live shows and people would come up to us and say “hey, loved your cover of Average White Band!”.

This song was a collaboration with Jeremy Phipps Trumpet/trombone, John Michael Bradford/trumpet, and Desmond Prevost/Tuba. The track was originally created for New Orleans rapper Scarz P of Diamond Key Productions. The track was never used ....I never cared about radio play or what was hot in the street...Soul Euphoric has is my outlet for getting my musical ideas created and being true to my musical vision.
