Out on UM Records...I Spoke to Paul from UM and he shared a few insites into whats to come from UM and they have got some amazing tunes and a few top names return to the label in the form of Rishi K. Big AL, Tim Andreson as well as a few new faces to keep an eye on for 2014.

2   Jamo and Andy George "Remember" I was  Going through a few old Promos I had last year and came across this  taken from MODA BLACK VOL. II Sampler Featuring tracks from Huxley, Danny Daze, Maxxi Sound system, Jaymo & Andy George, Hot Since 82, Habischman. And it’s a gem i missed out on went straight of Hot since 82 .I think it was called leave me. But what a cracking tune.

3     Roots Are Deep   Original Mix       Artists Jay West   out on Collected Works 5 track EP With artists like ....Moonwalk,  EdOne, Bodden, Trash You, Claus Casper,  That track by Jay West is no 5 on the release and is one of my Favorites. Out on OFF Recordings.

1   Autum Saturday Distortion Inc. Now he has been a long time veteran at DeepWit, his first appearance coming in the first year of the label. Tony S On The Remix as well as MDR has touched the track with a remix and the Original is a blinding warm excellently produced tune which I will play next week A BIG UP to Deepwit for this Release Available from 27th   Jan   2014.

Tom Lown Bio
Following A Drumming Background, Tom Made A Move To New York Where He Worked As A Producer/Composer For Ant Music. There He Composed And Produced Music For TV And Commercials, Meanwhile Holding Down His DJ Residency At Subkulture.Since His Return To London, Tom Has Had A String Of Releases With Sudup Recordings, Lost My Dog, 3am Recordings And Warmth Recordings. His Recent EP ‘Love Potion’ Was A Huge Success For Lost My Dog, Reaching #5 In Juno’s Deep House Chart, And Even Making It Into Beatport’s Chill Out Top 100 Courtesy Of The Track ‘The Return’. This Was Followed By A Special Jay Tripwire Remix Package. Last Year Saw Tom Teaming Up With Producer Harold Heath To Start Working On Some collaboration  EP’s. The 1st Was Released On Deepwit Recordings, The 2nd Is Due Out Soon On Acryl And The Pair Have Just Finished Off Their 3rd EP Together. Tom Also Has A Remix Coming Out On UM Records.Tom Still Composes Music For TV And Has Recently Been In The Studio With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Recording For SKY’s Music Catalogue!

This week on the Sounds Collective I am so happy to welcome BDTom as my guest not only a quality music Producer but an excellent dj as well He is dedicated music collector, producer, re-mixer, vinyl collector. In his collection you can find everything from the '70s Jazz and Funk to even the steepest Deep House hits. After the early techno scene, he voted in favor of the developing Progressive House. His true love however, is Deep House and everything related to it. Soulful, Detroit, Chicago, Tech. His works are highly inspired by old favourites such as Atjazz, Terry Lee Brown Jr., Ian Pooley, The Timewriter, Sven Vath, Fred Everything and many more! 
Nowadays he is developing his own Deep n Dub style of music that is constantly growing and evolving.

This is the first album by the talented producer Manuel Costela aka “Oval Future Face” and half part of “Defense Of Excess”, owner of the spanish labels “Bucketround Records” and “2phonic Recordings”. Born in Madrid and having worked with many different labels like “DeepArt Sounds”, “TH Pressing”, “Deep Explorer Music” and “Flumo Recordings”. Releasing both on vinyl and digitally. Manuel chose the amazing and deeper “Deepwit Recordings” label for his LP. 
There are 10 very personal tracks that define his particular way of experiencing Deep house music, where he plays with his bass, synthesizers, percussion and his own voice.vShowing his extensive taste for breakbeat, house and funk, fusing various styles. Yet always with his particular melodic touch.
