Poladroïd is a project that started in 2000. After a debut on International Deejay Gigolos, the Russian went his own way and created Roulette Rekordz @roulette-rekordz, releasing artists like Scape One , MANASYt , The WeeDJs and a bunch of various compilations... He also toured Europe and played in Praha, London, Madrid, Paris, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Bordeaux, Munich, and mostly in Belgium with artists like ADULT., Ectomorph, Anthony Rother, Dopplereffekt, Luke Eargoggle, Zerkalo and a long list of local artists...

Roulette Rekordz stopped its activities in 2007 and Poladroid took a break shortly after only to resurface in 2019, relaunching the label at the same time. In 2021 he already produced 2 EP's on his own label, but also a CD on Diffuse Reality records and a cassette release on Detriti records.

Roulette Rekordz has released on vinyl the second volume of Carjack City with Ben Milstein, Datawave, Terens K... but also digital EP's from Francois Dillinger, Datacrashrobot, Dr Floyd, Dark Prophet and RR veteran LL321.�2 more compilations are coming as well as EP's from new guests, exploring further a large spectrum of classic and, sometimes, much more unconventional electronics.

He glides between the two worlds of electro and techno. While he grew up an hour east of the Motor City, his musical roots were firmly planted in Detroit’s thriving late 90’s underground. His journey through the genres is dark while retaining a cerebral, dancefloor-oriented quality. This stems from the influences of Industrial, Detroit’s rich history of electro, minimal techno, and even Ghettotech. His Live & DJ sets lean heavily into the generation of hypnotic loops, creating long protracted mixes between elements to form an unshakeable tension.

He recently co-founded a new up-and-coming label, Infolines, managing their creative direction and operates the digital techno label, DONTDOIT, when he’s not focused on electro. The 2021 release calendar still holds two more LPs from DILLINGER – one via Specimen Records and the other a collab album with Cyphon & Obzerv via a new, TBA imprint. Combining best of both worlds working in Amsterdams finest record store Concerto, making music & collecting records. After hearing Newcleus’ Computer Age as a kid in the late 80’s he was hooked on electro music at a very young age.

Starting out with a Roland MC303 making electro tracks was all he would do, but soon many more drum machines & synthesizers filled his studio.

Now more inspired by the likes of Drexciya, Anthony Rother, and many others he started developing his style and started podcasting monthly mixes with his electro faves.

Lately, his track “Texel” was released on LBR Records in March this year, delivering a blistering electro cut, followed by his debut EP “Grounded” on Cyber Domain, released on cassette tape, which gained the support of a.o. Dark Science Electro, Jonny Moy and Dave Clarke.

He has also released in 21/22 digitally on Patterned Media and Woodwork in the US and Hybrid.
