"I recorded this mix on my latest Berlin trip while I was on tour. I wanted this mix to reflect on themes of longing, loss, love, and desire. I’ve recently undergone a lot of personal changes in my life, from relationships and friendships evolving to traveling quite a lot and being away from home. It’s kind of meant to be a hybrid of a playlist/mix I suppose. For me, these songs evoke a certain nostalgia, sadness, and catharsis. But hopefully some hope and joy as well. Lots of vocals and classics like Madonna, as well as some other better-known tracks. I wanted it to be a nice listening experience that's thematic more so than anything else. Could be nice to listen to while you’re at home, out for a drive, cleaning, or just want something non-abrasive to listen to."

Bethan is a DJ currently based in London, and can often be found playing at East London’s much loved queer venue, Dalston Superstore, where she is a resident & promoter of ‘Happy Endings’ & ‘Bodycon’. As well as Superstore, Bethan has recently played for parties such as Creatures, Tickle, Big Dyke Energy & more, and is set to make her UK festival debuts this summer. Her style is not limited to one specific genre, as she enjoys digging deep into her collection, playing a variety of 90s/early 2000s selections mixed with newer releases covering downtempo, early trance, progressive house, techno, jungle & beyond, with a constant drive to find the sublime.

A resident at Body Language (Berlin) and Vitamina (Milan), he has been finessing his sound and output for years now. Influenced by a multitude of musical sub-genres, ranging from 90s Progressive House to vocal heavy Detroit laden electro-breaks, his sweaty, sexy sets punctuated by strong basslines and powerful percussions demonstrate a DJ that has done a lot of digging and with a deep knowledge of their craft. Departing from his usual style, this mix showcases a different, slower side to 131BPM’s sonic arsenal before picking up to his namesake beat speed.

Working in nightlife can be challenging. So make sure to work out regularly, drink enough water, take breaks and be mindful.
