Drawn to heavier electronic music, in her club sets, Kasia Gościńska revolves around the sounds of broken & industrial techno, electro, EBM, weaving in some faster UK-influenced breaks, post punk and wavy flavors. Industrial downtempo, experimental and ambient music all have a special place in her selection as well. 

Kasia Gościńska cultivated her passion for electronic music in the hometown of Warsaw. After her move to Spain, she converted from a raver to a DJ the moment she started missing the harder face of music in the area she lived. Berlin, the current home-base, motivated her to discover different genres and to go outside of the comfort zone. 

The  inclusive underground rave culture of the city inspired Kasia to work on a project connecting the underground scenes of the Polish and German cities, the first initiatives of which will soon pop up. She is also currently teaming up with Coliberation, a Berlin-based Polish queer feminist collective, to work on an awareness raising project in the music context. Her performances have been appreciated across Poland - she just got nominated for the Polish Electronic Music Award in the DJ/DJne/Live of the Year 20XX by Muno.pl.

The French rave and electro vinyl veteran delivers an immense mix of dark ambient cinematic soundscapes, including his favorite film soundtracks. The tracklist soon available on the artist's social media.

The second hour is filled with industrial, electro, techno, breaks, EBM, with a touch of experimental and guitar sounds mixed by Kasia Gościńska. A sonic trip between light and dark, nostalgic and lightweight mood, built on rhythmic similarities all the while juxtaposing contrasting track colors and vibes."

Lady Maru is a Roman, now Berlin based electronic producer and post punk musician. Her actual sound as a producer and as a DJ is mostly based on acid techno with industrial and EBM influences. She recently opened a vinyl label for acid tunes(Acid boiler coalition) and is a Gegen Berlin resident DJ.

Chronicles Records Podcast 0 06 with TROJΛNOVSKX

TROJΛNOVSKX started producing music in 2016 after moving into a squatted bookshop in district Holloway situated in North London. There he joined an underground art event called The Chronic Illness of Mysterious Origin which is focused mainly on performance art and experimental electronic music.

TROJΛNOVSKX has been scoring The Chronic Illness performances and events ever since, often bringing his equipment down to the Dungeon and rehearsing in its constantly changing environment, playing several experimental live sets there, which created foundations for many tracks, some of them released on current EPs 'Blaec Waella' on Metempsychosis Records and 'Theatre of Plague' on The Judgement Hall Records.

In his DJ sets TROJΛNOVSKX blends ritualistic and experimental electronics, dark and noisy ambient textures and broken beat techno.

Belgium in the house! Psytox is a long-time friend of Parallel, and it was about time he delivered us a set :) So here we go! 
This set is pretty much testament to what Psytox’ sets are: not confined to genres and boundaries, the mix blasts of with the fierce Electro mayhem by Imogen and punk madness of Locked Club, morphs into bass driven Breakbeats and ends in 160bpm Nu-Techno and Electronica mayhem. He jokingly named his style “Ampe-curbing” - after his friend and inspiration of late, DJ Ampe. Risking it all by taking all sorts of weird turns, yet somehow managing to keep the car on the road. 

But.. who is Psytox? 

Psytox played his first DJ gig in 1989, amidst the New Beat craze in his native country Belgium. Securing a residency at a local club - with a 2000 people capacity - seemingly overnight, he played there up to four nights a week, often 12 to 15 hours straight. His relentless search for new, unique music lead him to travel to raves, clubs - and record stores - all over Europe - when he wasn’t behind the decks. 

He also produced close to 100 tracks thus far. He co-founded the Techno label Coincidence, where he aims to bring new talent to the forefront. Now well established artists like Rebekah, Cleric, Aadja, Mary Velo, Charlotte de Witte and Remy-X were on the label in the early days of their careers.

Throughout the years, he played at a huge amount of (known and obscure) clubs in Belgium, with regular appearances at Tomorrowland, KozzMozz, Café d’Anvers, Lagoa, Fuse,… and sets at Tresor, Zodiak, Club Vaag, Chalet, Extrema Outdoor, Lost Theory, Thé Dansant, Feestgedruis and so on. More recently, he can mostly be heard at Kompass Klub (Gent) or the Coincidence stage at Tomorrowland, where he has been performing each edition since 2010. 

He continues to search endlessly for new music, artists and young, upcoming talent that inspires - and tries to help them on their first steps in the scene. Keeping a young and open mind, despite being an old(er) raver…

In the November podcast, we present you a very special, solidarity set, recorded by @kasiagosc , who has already supported our initiative with her DJ work many times. This time, she selected and mixed combinations of various music exclusively from Iranian producers in an hour-long set. The Warsaw-born, Berlin-based artist has honed her craft from Europe to India and beyond, both as a DJ and as founder and curator of SFORA, an intimate festival in the Polish wilderness which takes place in June. Melting moody electro with groovy techno, breakbeat with 4x4 rhythms or smashing a techno set spiced up with acid, breaks, bass, punk, 2 step, and D’n’B, the unexpected is what you can expect and her sets always have a unique touch and fresh dance floor energy. We hosted her debut at Tresor earlier this year and today we're thrilled to host this eclectic mix in our podcast series.

Next Episode of Abaddon Podcast with Filmmaker

Colombian producer, Faunes Efe, stands behind a slew of prolific albums and EP’s released under the Filmmaker project, quickly building a cult following amongst those with an affinity for dystopian electronics steeped in an alluring, seductive darkness. From earlier self-released works such as ‘Visceral’, a 10-track full length work modestly described in Efe’s own words as the “First occult-orientated soundtrack from an experimental lost film”, to the 808-shots of ‘Nocturnal’ and later with the grainy, low-fi electro of ‘Wetwork’. Each successive release proves Efe’s capacity to execute productions of magnitude across the electronic spectrum, yielding body moving music from a small arsenal of honed hardware.

Filmmaker’s material derives from an unadulterated exploration of the sonic realms, utilising multiple formats and artistic mediums; documented through a series of original cover artworks and short films created by Efe. In the space of a year since its inception, Efe began touring as a live artist under the Filmmaker project, from his home-base in Medellin, to clubs and spaces throughout the Americas and Europe. 2019 became a defining period for Efe’s musical trajectory, with the release of the acclaimed ‘The Love Market’ LP on Berlin-based Detriti Records and later landing on esteemed UK label, Opal Tapes with his 6-track ‘Unregulated’ EP, followed by the 7-track dark wave masterclass ‘Noir Times’ EP on Valencia-based, HC Records.
