Bosnian-built and -bred Sev Dah may be a Swedish expat, but the Balkan blackness clings strongly to the bleak percussions and rigidly uneasy synthetics that unwillingly fuse into his strongly individual take on techno. Authentically purveying the pulsations of the nakedly throbbing and ugly world, far away from Starbucks and H&M.

Signed to respected labels such as Random Island, Mote-Evolver, Komisch and Frozen Border sublabel Naked Index he quickly gnawed his way into the scene’s core of DJs and producers. Sev is even managing new projects on his own label Proletarijat since 2016. Like a rabid mongrel, since 1998 he has been chewing and belching new bastard beats that are aching to scream out. Consequently there’s a steaming and steady stream of vinyl releases coming.

With influences ranging from Stigmata and Mills to Master Reese and Petar Dundov, Sev Dah is a versatile but headstrong DJ that can gently ease a thumb in at midnight or fervently thrust it down the hatch at peak time.

His sound could be described as raw futurism-funk and has led the young man to venues such as Fold, Village Underground and Tresor. Yant is a 24 year old DJ, producer and occasional sound engineer whose unique take on minimalistic, futuristic, yet raw and forward-thinking techno has made him one of the most exciting new acts to emerge out of the UK. The Manchester-based maestro melts mesmerizing rhythms with complex atmospheres, creating techno rough enough for the body and complex enough for the mind. His music has been released on Setaoc Mass' SK_Eleven among other labels and can regularly be heard on the dancefloors of clubs such as Fabric, Berghain and Bassiani.

Shaleen [Only Vinyl] joins for DifferentSound Podcast #178.

For Shaleen every day in life is being accomplished by a constant rhythm. Inspired by the warmth of analogue sounds she found herself in playing vinyl only sets most of the time. Her DJ-Sets are pushing forward, mostly 90’s influenced combined with modern and exciting layovers. Shaleen constantly works on improving her production skills and again fell in love with the analogue world. She recently got her first modular system and is working on a live appearance. Her gig schedule shows that she has already gone world-known places like Tresor Berlin, Link Bologna, a Berghain appearance at Säule, E1 London, Radion Amsterdam and a lot more to mention. As a resident of „We Are Not Alone“ events she regularly plays at Revier Südost Berlin and as a resident of Seelen. Records she is regularly to be seen at Institut für Zukunft as well as at Distillery Leipzig.

Su trayectoria es corta y hasta ahora ha pinchado en raves y clubes nacionales como Lanna Club y Studio76, así como otros garitos locales de su ciudad natal, Gijón. 

Sus inspiraciones musicales nacen de Assambled Machine, uno de sus mejores amigos y maestro que le ha involucrado en el sonido de  Robert Hood, Steve Rachmad, Stojche y otros muchos artistas.

Tehotu arrives in Berlin in 2015 and maintains his commitment to Underground by linking up with some of the Berlin night scene activists. Following a rave he organised for the famous 1st of May in 2017 in Berlin (Thousands of wild people in the streets of Kreuzberg) he starts a collectif called F5I and the raves called EXPOSURE taking place into a warehouse in the area of Jannowitzbrücke with view on the Spree.
He starts as well a webradio called Droomface Radio with a concept of no promo, masked DJ in order not to influence listeners/viewers and mostly focus on what's important.

Also Producer-DJ, Tehotu is interacting between passion and his beloved Underground culture. The latter is, as a producer, creating dreamlike atmospheres into his timelesses tracks and also being spontaneous with a refine music. As a breathetaking performer, he's proving to every crowds in every single set how to combine story-telling with love, passion and a clear message. 
He's one of a kind that shares with the public and bring them to a real soul-searching about the essence of our acts. He's gonna guide you to a sweaty and euphoric situation.
