I love big open skies on sunny days! During the summer in Texas, I often look at the seas of clouds and wonder what it would be like to fly around and enjoy the openness. Recently, a friend of mine got a pilot's license and took me flying with him. Finally, I was able to enjoy the awesome views from thousands of feet in the air; I started writing this song shortly after.
