Talented production duo Paul C & Paolo Martini bring their Italian flavour to the dancefloor as they are warmly welcomed back on Hot Creations with ‘Pinball’.

Title track ‘Pinball’ hits with a solid bassline, intricate percussion and a dynamic ghetto style vocal. On the flip ‘Woom’ works up a cunning groove, spell-binding melody and strong synths build towards an epic breakdown. Both tracks emulate Paul C & Paolo Martini’s distinctive sound and are primed for bringing heat to the night.

With a combined career that spans 40 years in the business, Paul C & Paolo Martini are 2 of the hottest Italians producers around. As part of Bini & Martini, Paolo Martini was without doubt one of the most prolific house producers at the turn of the century, touring the globe and lending their remix talents to major dance labels like Defected, Strictly Rhythm, AM:PM, Twisted, Universal and many of the worlds biggest pop acts such Jamiroquai, Kylie Minogue, Terence Trent D'Arby, Murk, Armand Van Helden and many many more. Paul C has honed his production skills since the mid '90's and his energetic brand of tech-house has seen him release on a host influential labels.

From 2010 the pair have worked tirelessly in the studio and not only seen their music supported by many of the industry’s biggest names but have also seen their tracks & remixes feature on labels such Hot Creations, Cecille, 8Bit, Moon Harbour, Noir, Gruuv, Terminal M, Exploited and Bedrock amongst many others.

Underground Audio brings you the freshest flavours from the Balearic with the “Weekend House” EP from Ismael Casimiro. Hailing from Spain, Ismael makes his debut on Underground Audio with this pumping three track package, including two originals and one remix.

The EP opens with “Weekend House”, a bass driven track filled with grooving riffs, tastefully placed percussion, and an acid-influenced warped synth motif evolving throughout the track. Tied together with subtle vocal interludes on top of tense buildups, Ismael
continues to build energy throughout the track, making this essential for warm-up sets.

The original is taken a step further by a remix from Spencer K, evolving the track into a darker, hard-hitting tech house weapon. His remix adds emphasis to vocal samples, while the heavy drums carrying the track are laced seamlessly with the warped synth motif
of the original. Filled with energetic drops after short yet frequent buildups, this track is perfectly placed for peak time application.

Closing off the EP is a second original by Ismael titled “Smooth Movement”. This rolling groover is hypnotic yet heavy - entrancing vocals and a deep bassline capture an air of mystique, while a keynote warped synth adds tension throughout. Venturing into a more minimal tech house territory, expect this track to make its way into multiple after-hours sessions.

Russ Davies has an enviable back catalogue under a number of aliases, and his latest project as Aiiso continues a fine run of form. Debuting the moniker on the label’s inaugural ‘Explorations’ EP series in early 2016 with ‘Point Of Return’, Russ follows up with the four track 'Your Love Is An Echo EP’.

The EP opens with title track 'Your Love Is An Echo’, a fan favourite from the label’s recent iTunes dance #1 album ‘Anjunadeep 08’, which features Russ' own vocoder vocals on top of a languid balearic groove. Following in the footsteps of rising talents Luttrell, Theo Kottis and Aiiso, young Finnish producer Tontario marks a new wave of talent joining Anjunadeep over the past 12 months. Making his first label outing last summer on the second installment of the ‘Explorations’ various artist EP series, followed by a pair of contributions on 2016’s iTunes Dance #1 album ‘Anjunadeep 08’, Tontario now presents his debut EP on the label with ‘Solitude’. 

Title track ‘Solitude’ is an atmospheric roller featuring dreamy vocals from fellow Finn, Lake Jons. A stand out moment from ‘Anjunadeep 08’ alongside his stunning rework of Ólafur Arnalds’s ‘Öldurót’. The EP’s second track ‘Late’ blends gentle grooves with blissful piano melodies before ‘Passing’ serves up darker dance floor vibes with Tontario’s trademark cinematic touch. Closing the EP is ‘Revenge’, a reflective deep cut that layers strings alongside haunting keys and layered organic sounds.

It was back in 2004 when Miss Connie and Angus McDonald started making beautiful music together. A series of singles at first then, in 2006, their self-titled, 3 x platinum debut album.  Spearheaded by a spectacular salvo of chart topping hits – UFO, PICTURES and I LOVE IT – Sneaky Sound System won ARIA Awards for Breakthrough Artist and Best Dance Release, the first of 14 nominations to-date.

Second long-player and #1 album 2 arrived in 2008 with yet more dancefloor slayers in the form of KANSAS CITY, WHEN WE WERE YOUNG, and the #1 UK club smash IT'S NOT MY PROBLEM. In 2009 I WILL BE HERE, a collaboration with Dutch superstar DJ Tiesto, took Sneaky to the top of both the US dance airplay and UK club charts.

In late 2011 album number three, FROM HERE TO ANYWHERE, arrived, the title referencing its creation in hotel suites, planes, and studios around the world from here (Sydney) to just about everywhere (London, Paris, Ibiza, Moscow). Accolades from critics around the world flowed: MTV called it “an incredible effort” and Sydney’s Daily Telegraph said it’s “a delicious feast of world class dance-pop songs”. A nomination in the prestigious 2012 International DJ Awards in the Live Performance category underscored their escalating international reputation.

In the swirling midst of albums and tours, Connie lent her vocals and lyrics to albums from superstars Jay-Z, Kanye West and Snoop Dogg, and in 2013 she was a guest mentor on Australia’s biggest TV show, The Voice. Later that year, in a News Limited poll of musicians and critics to determine Australia’s greatest all-time singers; Connie came in at no. 18.

And then of course there’s SNEAKY SUNDAYS, the beloved club night they have been running for over 15 years in Sydney and, for four years, at the world renowned Mykonos landmark, Scorpios. It’s a celebration of house music, from slow chugging disco burners to groove laden techno stormers…where you always feel like you’re in the middle of summer. The past few years have seen Sneaky releasing music more akin to the sound of these weekly parties, like SUMMERTIME MADNESS, ALL I NEED IS YOU, and I AIN'T OVER YOU.

2017 saw Sneaky Sound System release underground club tune DO YA THING and, in September, fresh reworks of the mega-smash PICTURES flew into the upper reaches of the ARIA Club Chart, spending four weeks at #2. In March 2018, new remixes of I LOVE IT followed, reaching #3 on the ARIA Club Chart.

In 2018 CAN'T HELP THE WAY THAT I FEEL was released on the venerated UK dance label Cr2.  It reached #1 on both the UK Music Week Club Chart and the Beatport Global House chart, and #2 on the Beatport main (combined) chart. It remained in the top 40 for well over a year and UK national radio, including BBC Radio 1, widely supported the track with over 1900 spins.

The single WE BELONG arrived in mid-2019, followed later in the year by RAISE, a collaboration with hot French DJ/Producer Watermat. Sneaky Sundays became Sneaky Saturdays as Bali hotspot Mrs Sippy became the spectacular location for Sneaky’s much-adored weekly party during July-September.

Angus and Connie are currently back in their Bondi studio - expect more releases during the year - and a return to Mrs Sippy Bali for their weekly parties. And, as always, they’ll be touring extensively, captivating audiences at festivals and clubs around Australia and the world.
