Boom - Happy New Year everybody!

I hope everybody had a smooth transition into the new year and spent the night in whatever way was best at this moment - regardless if it was a party, a wonderful social gathering or just a super chill and introspective night! :)

I myself was honored to play two sets at the NYE Party of the Basecamp Climbing Community in the Mountains of Tenerife - one at night and one afterhour closing set. This is the recording of my afterhour in the early morning, celebrating and dancing into the first moments of the new year with some beautiful people! 

I had an unforgettable night and shared the decks with two other great and powerful DJ's from Brazil and Finland. The setting in general was a very special one as it was also the first time I played here on the Canary Islands - hopefully many more sessions to come. 

Thank you for everybody who came, danced and celebrated with me and thanks to you out there for listening. Keep up the high vibrations and share love! :)

Thaaaank youuuu magical cosmonautic souls for celebrating this beautiful beautiful gathering together again! Here is my set from Sunday night for everybody to go through this rollercoaster of sounds and spheres one more time. I love this petite but massively powerful gathering and it is a huge honor to me to have played here for the fourth time now. 

The energies and vibrations this festival brings together are beyond our regular three-dimensional world & everyone who came to this weekend meeting of special people knows what I'm talking about. THANK YOU to every single one for dancing out your most floaty ways again for me. I appreciate these moments so much!

This recording of my most recent gig at MaHalla reflects the shift in musical style that I went through during the past months. I am noticing that I can authentically find myself more & more in the spheres of deep, tribal & somewhat mystical sounds of progressive down- and midtempo music. This sonic journey is infused with shamanic and later on psychedelic influences before rounding the journey up with some cloudy, dreamy tracks to generate a smooth transition back into reality. Last love letters is a new series focused mainly on afterhour music. I mean, that can mean as many things as there are DJs but in this particular case we're playing minimalistic and deep house music which in itself has a lot of variety. This time it's an open series where as Mixes From The North has been solely my own little art project. So feel free to contact me through DM if you're interested, even though it's mostly invite-only.

This mix I played couple of days ago salutes the sun that's slowly starting to warm our hearts and bodies here up north. It makes us feel vibrant, alive. The mix is also about love (surprise surprise!) lost long time ago and the feeling when you find it in yourself and others again.

A lot of vocals, a lot of grooves and great tunes. Hope you enjoy listening it as much as I did playing it.
