♫ About the artist: this veteran of the sonic arts, Latam, started getting involved with soundwaves in 2004. Nowadays he focuses on the groovy, hypnotic side of psychedelic trance, with the bpm around 140, but building bridges between different styles and tempos is very much a trademark of his. Latam also goes by the alter-ego Fractaliceanu (faster & darker psytrance) and Blooni (deep techno).

Hey there!
This was a wild way to kick off my introduction to Wookiefoot and Shangri-la festival. I just finished my set at the Sanctuary then was asked by Rich thank you by the way, to play some music before Vincent Anton at the Harmonium Stage. Such a great experience to share some Berlin vibes with everyone there. Thank you so much for Georigia, James, Laura, Jo-Jo, and of course Rich who handled the logistics of the this pop up set before the music happened. I am so grateful to have so many beautiful friends that love and appreciate music as much as I do.

I started my DJ journey back in 1992 when i joined the Stimulatons collective at the '1in12 Club' in Bradford, UK.  For those of you that like their crusty anarchist punk, you will probably have heard of the place.

Throughout the 90s i played various genres of techno and trance mainly leaning more to the acidic tripped out side, later progressing more into a more darker progressive sound, not retricting my self to any specic genre.

After Stimulatons,  i have been have a promoter DJ for numerous other events the last being a successfull Psychedlic night called Kulu, althought the other DJs did complain that i leaned a bit too much to the housy side, i think they were just confused because i played stuff with a groove.

In 2004 i decided to fully step away from DJing and the scence as a whole,  for someone who was very passionate about the music, it was a very dificult decision to take, but a neccessary one.   The following year i then left the UK for a life in Copenhagen Denmark where i have been live for the past 19 years, married with 2 children.

Now the Kids are older, i have started collecting music once again, and decided to have another go at DJing after a 20 year break.

A spontaneous collaboration after a chance meeting at Ecstatic Dance Festival  in Corfu Greece, Producer/Beat-Maker DJ Trotsky and Conscious Hip-Hop artist Zen Tempest created this sonically rich & deep meditation on the beauty and pain of life, death, and transformation.

Dutch improv vocalist Birkit Rietveld's voice weaves and floats throughout the track like incense through air as hearts and minds align, bodies and souls dance, and Cobras and Roses coalesce as one.
