Federation are back with another classy release, pushing the boundaries with their unique sound and showing why they are fast establishing themselves as front runners in pioneering a new sound which draws influence from both the underground trance and 80’s electronica scenes.

As used on Paul Oakenfold’s latest “We Are Planet Perfecto” compilation “Innocent Desire” continues the story from where Federation’s debut single “Synchronized” began. 

Both keen fans of bands like the The Cocteau Twins, Sisters of Mercy and The Cure, Federation’s Ben Lost and Rich “Solarstone” Mowatt make precision music with depth, substance and emotion. 

“Innocent Desire” fuses hypnotic psychedelic grooves with big dramatic melodies and perfectly executed vocals. 

With a 4 piece band coming together and an abundance of fresh material being written for perfecto as well as the planned 2012 live shows – to say Federation is a buzz word in our office is something of an understatement. 

We love Federation. We want to see them live. Now. 

Hot on the heels of his killer remix of Man With No Name’s classic “Teleport”, studio genius Nick Sentience steps up with another storming mix for Perfecto Fluoro. His driving psy trance take on the single pushes the energy levels to full throttle. Hot new remixer Phil Taylor rounds off the package with a banging mix aimed at the main room / peak time.

It doesn’t get ‘purer’ than this, Solarstone’s majestic ‘4Ever’ is an embodiment the Pure Trance sound; an evocative lead melody, a heart-rending chord progression backed up by incessant, driving production. This 136bpm ‘Pure Retouch’ has been a mainstay of Solarstone’s DJ sets throughout 2014 and features on the critically acclaimed ‘Electronic Architecture 3’. Previously available only as an album-cut, after a clamor of requests fans it is now available in all of its eight-and-a-half minute DJ-friendly glory. Timeless.

After the huge success of ‚Bring You Home‘ on A Tribute To Life, Dennis Sheperd is back with a brand new record called ‚We Are‘, the first single from his upcoming album ‚Fight Your Fears‘. ‚We Are‘ is the collaborative effort between the German Trance producer and US based singer/songwriter Sylvia Tosun.

It has been a very busy year for Dennis Sheperd – with several record releases with influential vocalists, founding his own label, starting his own podcast and finishing production of his second artist album ‚Fight Your Fears‘ set for release early next year.

Sylvia Tosun - a vocalist well known for her big Trance hits ‚An Angels Love‘ (with Alex M.O.R.P.H.), ‚Eye 2 Eye‘ (with Aly & Fila) and ‚There Are No Words‘ (with Andrew Rayel) has worked her magic on the vocals for this record. Starting with a whispery and subtle vocal, she leads into a phenomenal, big sounding chorus that will burn your speakers.

The combination of these two talents has led to ‚We Are‘ – an electro-infused Trance record that lets you fly away during the breakdowns and pulls you back for the drops!

‚We Are‘ is out now on Beatport via A Tribute To Life.
The release on all other digital stores will be on 2nd December via Sea To Sun Recordings (North America & UK) and A Tribute To Life (rest of the world).
