The Saint-Petersburg based producer Reknek began his career in electronic music in the middle 2000s. Over the years he has been deeply involved in the scene in multiple projects, having changed the name several times and also been professionally involved in the production of sample libraries.
In 2021 he decided to fully focus all his skills on his own creativity  with the new drum & bass project Reknek.

Smooth N Groove Records is a Drum & Bass label dedicated to bringing atmospheric, funky, soulful, rolling vibez from the best in the scene to the ears of all listeners.

Based out of Washington, DC and Northampton, UK. Smooth N Groove Records launched in May 2016 opening with their first release, Jrumhand’s Beaches & Countryside.

Since its conception Smooth N Groove has established a respectable place within the scene with full support from their peers and an ever growing fan base. Already one of the best-known eastern European techno/house DJs, Nastia’s star is firmly in the ascendancy globally. Her style is to an extent adaptable but she has a sound that is unmistakably her own. The last three years have been a whirlwind of gigs for Nastia. Her twilight techno, melancholic minimal, stripped-down ghetto funk and sustained house have been wowing crowds all around the world. She’s recently signed to the prestigious agency Bullitt DJ so her travellings are going to be even further afield every week.
