As the cool bass cello riff took center stage in this track, its dynamic vibe seamlessly paired with Kate's vocals. This combination captures the essence and meaning of the song. 'Sunday' is all about embracing moments of respite without guilt—an anthem against burnout. The synergy between the lively bass and Kate's stylings on both regular banjo and cello banjo adds a new color to Bonnie’s performance that itself musically represents taking time and standing up for yourself.

‘With Leaving Birds’ sees Dougie Harley sing a story of goodbye from the banks of a Scottish sea loch.
The song tells of a lover compelled to leave, regardless of how much they are begged to stay. Set in autumn as winter approaches and the birds are called to other shores.

The 17th century English minister & scientist Charles Morton wrote a about how birds migrate to the moon and back every year. Ancient sailors believed birds returned from space to land on their ships.
Medieval encyclopedia’s have texts about barnacle geese growing from trees over water. From Ophelia and Shakespeare to Homers iliad the literary world is awash with stories of migration and water & sea. These are the inspiration for ‘with leaving birds’.

The back story

For the last 16 years Johnno has been releasing independent music under his own name, as Snippet, Old Tramp and Walken400, creating a unique catalogue of recordings and performances, and having been named by Tom Robinson as the most played BBC Introducing artist ever on his BBC 6 Music show, Johnno has continued to release vibrant music with plenty of bounce to the ounce.

Former caretaker, London Underground railman and local council relationship manager Johnno Casson aka Snippet started out writing songs at 15 in his bedroom on a Hackney council estate with a tennis racket for a guitar and a soap-on-a-rope microphone.

Johnno played for Adrian Sherwood’s (On-USound) 5-a-side football team (silky smooth striker), gloriously beating The Sun newspaper’s team at a championship for charity at Arsenal’s stadium, and for the last 12 years he has been perfecting his coleslaw making skills, whilst getting M.E and becoming a well respected figurehead on the British D.I.Y./Wonky Pop scene.
