Our first official release is produced by German musician Ben Böhmer. Ben is a young talent who has a growing reputation as a promising live performer in Berlin. It is clear that Ben's musical upbringing shines through in his production with the haunting saxophone in Sprich flowing into the driving bass of Black Pattern. We hope that this EP sets the tone for many future releases on Bade Records.

It’s nothing that you just listen to, it’s something that you will feel. Mooncruise is a genuine piece of Jens Zimmermann signature style: minimalistic with a lot of pumping sub bass. It is for sure a strong piece for your home audio but it will unfolded its true forcefulness with the power of a PA system inside the massive resounding walls of a club. Only there, you will sense the full capacity of what underpins the cruising beat – an enormous sub bass filling the room with a vibrating sound that will captivate every angle of your body. Snork #80 - just one track, minimal but mighty!
Jens Zimmermann
There are only a few artists that have shaped electronic music like he did. Coming from the rough 90s, Jens Zimmermann created his very own interpretation of minimal sound. His productions are reduced, intense and of a heavy-bass nature. It is a sound pulsating between tight drive and spiritual experimentalism, according to his philosophy “The non-resisting groove which has to be pumping.” And, it’s a true signature sound that is highly appreciated by other renowned artists such as Ricardo Villalobos and Richie Hawtin.
Having started to produce electronic music in the early 90s, the German musician experienced a big hit in the underground scene with his release “Running” on the label “Abfahrt” as a member of the project “Tyrell Corp”. As time went by, he took a short detour from techno to drum’n’bass, but returned back on his original techno path at the latest in 2005 with a release on the label Room Recordings. And, he came back even more passionate und pure than ever! Not only does he express this in his releases but he also shows it in his DJ sets, in which he incorporates a large amount of his own productions. This way, every set becomes something special, particularly since he has a mania for long transitions and self-produced loops as well as a seventh sense for timing. The club is his home. Or as his bio tells: “He feels most comfortable when the light is off, the fog-machine is rolling and he is able to generate his personal microcosm in order to stimulate the crowd euphorically.“

Rødhåd’s debut album ‘Anxious’ sees the artist step away from the dancefloor and further develop the narrative qualities of his beautiful soundscapes. In ‘Target Line’, Rødhåd´s collaboration with Vril, the simmering synth-track breaks away when they least expect it, setting the stage for the climax of the album.

This release is one of the latest and most surprising insights into the Hamburg underground techno scene. If you have thought so far, there is no such thing, we are happy to teach you better. Lucinee, Lifka, and Stute are three rapidly emerging techno artists who are actively shaping the nights of Hamburg’s subcultural techno clubs. Their sound as DJs is uncompromising and authentic. And they already have been crossing borders bringing it to other cities from Berlin to Copenhagen. Now, their first collaborate release carries this attitude onto one intriguing record.
With her two solo tracks “Neptune” and “Black Moon”, Lucinee presents herself with a fresh interpretation of some good old acid techno styles. The origins go way back, but her execution brings some new light into the sound and makes it perfect for an early sunrise just after a rough club night. Together with Lifka, she shows her variability in “Mechanical Skin”. With this composition, they have created a hypnotic merge of techno beats and trance elements. Those three tracks are complemented by a forth piece by their fellow Hamburg artist Stute, which is called “Low Noise”. What may sound subtle indeed surprises as an energetic techno hymn that – without being compliant with mainstream – has the potential to fill up the halls of vibrant hot spots and enthuse a broad crowd from techno newbies up to old school lovers.

TRANSATLANTIKA STRAFZINS
How about some bright groove fighting the dark winter days? Clark Davis will certainly light up your ears and mind. The three tracks on his new Snork Enterprises release “TransATLANTIKA Strafzins” are more than convincing. 
Already with the first beat, you can feel the energy, which strongly keeps up during the entire song. Whether you are on the dancefloor or somewhere else – the beats, claps and heads make you move. It’s an energizing interaction of house tunes, funk and techno beats with a glance at the good old skool groove. 
As special add-on, the release comes with remixes by two fellow artists from Hamburg. Lucinee turns the first track “Fail” into her very own “Epic Fail Remix” with a hearty load of acid rave. Label owner Christian Schachta aka Syntax Error himself takes on the second track “TransATLANTIKA”, morphs it into his tricky signature sound and creates a – how could it be different – “Yellow Remix”. Altogether the Hamburg connection is perfect.

"Looking at recent global events we simply can’t stay quiet. Electronic music was born within communities of Queer, Black and Latinx poeple. Having been started by people of colour to create spaces of expression and community, techno as a genre has a responsibility towards its Black heritage. It’s time to live up to this. 

U4E - United For Equity  is a platform that aims to promote equity among artists. We want a future where Black representation is more than just a short-lived social media trend, we want to make it a reality. What better place to start than a compilation featuring Black and non-Black artists. 
With “MELT THE POT“ we bring together music from around the globe to raise awareness and funds for a shared cause. Leaving it open for future collaborations.
We come together as allies, as activists and a music-based community. Systemic racism is a reality, police brutality is a reality, lack of justice is a reality, and we‘re standing with the victims of this sickening system. 

Nevertheless, privilege allows white artists access to exposure, capital and audience within the scene that is denied to Black people. The music industry like the rest of society is biased and bolsters structural racism. Inevitably, that creates a systemic injustice we as artists have to address together. White artists have to start using their privilege, elevating Black voices and making music a place where exchange and education can take place. 
 
All revenue from the compilation will be divided between two projects: The Bail Project is a critical tool to prevent incarceration and combat racial and economic disparities in the bail system in the US. The other half will go directly to Black Lives Matter, the organization at the forefront of what is happening right now globally. 

Without the artists involved “United 4 Equity“ wouldn’t have been possible. A huge thank you for creating this global and digital community to help those fighting for a better future. It’s time to give back to the community that gave us the music we love. "

Unfortunately 15 minutes are missing of the set as the recorder fall down due to the rocking crowd which crashed the DJ desk...Anyway, that´s real live stage feeling! Series has been going on a journey deep down under the ground, where the light is dark and the bass is booming. 

It’s that kind of place where thoughts and conventions get overridden by the purity of sound; a place where well-known artists and astonishing newcomers expose their experimential spirit leading to a very peculiar sound. What’s top of the record charts does not matter. Bestsellers are negligible. Snork is freedom of sound, no matter what! It’s not at all about being pretentious or arty for the sake of it. It's about real depth on the dance floor. 

It's a journey with friends such as Jens Zimmerman, Phil Kieran, Cristian Vogel, Daze Maxim, Konstantin Sibold and other big names from the techno scene having dedicated themselves to an uncompromising, stunning beat and to go even further on a trip to the instantly exceptional, experimental sounds, ranging back to various roots of electronic underground. 

It’s an experienced and passionate label having found its very special booth in the techno scene. 2004, it all started with nowadays sublabel Feinwerk. It was the first step towards ten years of genuine underground sound. Founded by techno DJ and producer Christian Schachta, known as Syntax Error, Snork Enterprises soon developed into a base for modern underground electronic techno music placed in Gießen, a small town, right in the middle of Germany. Watch out! It does not always have to be London, Berlin or Chicago!
