Bristol-born, Berlin-based DJ, producer & label owner Decka is August's guest on the MindTrip podcast with an exclusive 3-hour session that showcases his signature techno sound, loaded with hypnotic polyrhythmic patterns and groovy, high-energy basslines.
Jack is a vinyl enthusiast and this vinyl-only recording at RSO in Berlin, earlier in July, is explicit proof of his love for wax on stage as well as with his own releases on Token's Fuga compilation,  Darwin's SPE:C imprint and his co-own label Unterwegs.

All recorded sets from the mega snorky party at this amazing place in Rostock. As told, one of the hidden islands for real underground vibe and techno music left in Germany. Super atmosphere, super soundsystem and lovely people! Thanks to the Kraftwerk Crew for this great start into the X-mas holidays.
I hope all recorded sets can bring the energy across we experienced during the night together with Neil Landstrumm, Robert Hud, Syntax Error and Roseen on the main floor and Clark Davis and the Garage 58 crew on the second floor.

We Invited warmly Syntax Error to record a 1h Techno mix for us. The mix is a Vinyl-Only handwork.

SYNATX ERROR:
Exactly this world of the deep and groovy techno music is the well-known territory
of Christian Schachta aka Syntax Error. Having started as techno DJ in the late
90ies, he soon found his very special sound favoring deep wobbly bass lines,
harsh snares, FM tones and drones, deep bass drums and tricky percussion.
Like a syntax error, he breaks with commonplace regularities and creates a
wholly new sound experience that is highly recognized within the techno scene.
Each of his releases is an authentic, passionate creation of sound always
mirroring some experience from his personal life – whether it’s from his
adventures at sea or during journeys in the underground dj life enthusiastically
roaming the techno club scene.
Christian also engaged in a couple of new techno projects besides his signature
alter ego Syntax Error, like the experimental techno satire Classic THE FIST as
well as the project 7Function and SYER.
In the beginning of the 2000s he started his label Snork Enterprises, which is a
base for modern underground electronic techno music. It&#39;s not at all about being
pretentious or arty for the sake of it. It&#39;s about real depth on the dance floor. Short
and sweet: very snorky! It&#39;s a journey with friends such as Cristian Vogel, Neil
Landstrumm, Phil Kieran, Jens Zimmerman, DisX3 aka Alexander Kowlaski,
MasCon and many more from the techno scene having dedicated themselves to
an uncompromising, stunning beat to go even further on a trip to the instantly
exceptional, experimental sounds, ranging back to various roots of electronic
underground.

This is the 8th episode of our monthly podcast 'Nachtstrom Sessions' mixed by Oliver Rosemann!

Oliver is a German techno artist who has been exploring his sound for many years. Over the time, he has made numerous releases on the most famous labels in the scene. Including many 12“ records, studio albums and also remixes for respected artists.

His music is characterized as dark, dirty and hypnotic. You can hear his tracks at the hands of the most famous DJs in clubs around the world. Or by himself, he is also traveling internationally and playing DJ sets or live sets.

Since 2021 he has been running the label “Recorded Things”, which has since gained a strong reputation among new and established artists. Here you can also recognize the sound that Oliver distributes.

Music connects like-minded producers in the scene so Oliver is involved in various collaboration projects. He works with Pfirter, Alexander Kowalski and Jonas Kopp and has released plenty of EPs with them.

And it’s exactly what Snork Enterprises likes: Some rugged, acid techno piece. So get your hands sweaty for the new Snork #78 by Steve Lorenz.
With his fusion of industrial sound, acid tunes and techno beats, Steve Lorenz develops a powerful and nasty atmosphere. You can literally feel the machines that have been producing those five new tracks. It’s a genuine, handmade sound. Heavy beats, boosting pace, and screeching tweaks are run by acid power. The speed goes up and down, but the energy remains strong. And the mighty Machine Room constantly forces forward.

He’s a passionate defender of genuine techno values. For him, true techno music should not be limited to computers. It should be a result of research and experimentation by means of modern tools, speaking of hardware AND software. He believes in vinyl and despised the mass production currently carried out by many producers and labels that are just pushing out dozens of releases, compilations or other digital outputs for the sake of quantity and the hope of fame. 
In contrast, Steve Lorenz’s focus of his work is meant to be quality, vanguard and experimentation. That way, over the years, he developed an industrial sound, which is in constant evolution and is mainly influenced by techno, detroit, minimal, dub, acid, and neo trance. Being a very active techno producer since 2008, many of his productions are released on vinyl. His works are appreciated by top techno names such as Ellen Allien, Damon Wild, DJ Hell, Remute, Alex Kork, Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier and many more – some of which he already cooperated with as for example in 2010 when he released the vinyl Abstraction EP on Synewave, the New York label founded by Damon Wild. In 2012, Steve Lorenz also started his own label Tarvisium Electronique and by this expanded his collaborations with artists that he personally highly values such as Syntax Error, Legowelt, Orlando Voorn, Roland M. Dill, Applescal and Stanny Franssen.
