"Das britische Technokollektiv SUBHEAD wurde 1995 gegründet und veröffentlichten ihre eigene Musik. Ihr esoterischer Sound verschaffte ihnen eine Kultanhängerschaft, da die Musik offensichtlich dem ästhetischen Vorbild des Techno der 1990er Jahre folgte. Die Stücke selbst behielten eine solche Tendenz zur vielfältigen Integration externer Elemente bei; das Duo lediglich als Technokünstler zu bezeichnen, ist unzureichend, da es ihnen gelingt, unter anderem Elemente aus Hip-Hop, Electro und breakbeat zu integrieren. Nach dem tragischen Tod von seinem Partner Phil produzierte Jason Leach alleine weiter und gründete unter anderem auch seine Firma https://www.andvinyly.com - hier kann man sich nach dem Tod mit seiner Asche in einer vinyl verewigen lassen für die Nachkommen. Leider ist dies bei uns in Deutschland nicht möglich."

What’s top of the record charts does not matter. Bestsellers are negligible. Snork is freedom of sound, no matter what! It’s not at all about being pretentious or arty for the sake of it. Founded by techno DJ and producer Christian Schachta, known as Syntax Error, Snork Enterprises soon developed into a base for modern underground electronic techno music placed in Gießen, a small town, right in the middle of Germany. Watch out! It does not always have to be London, Berlin or Chicago!
