I need to make this very clear. I was actually incredibly nervous working on this one. I'm not trying to be hard on myself, but I want to admit to myself that I don't think my rendition of death egg will ever match Joy's version that she did for Sonic & Knuckles Alternate. There is a reason why she is my favorite composer atm and her take on Death Egg is my favorite piece of work that she has ever put out. I know it's not a good thing to compare yourself to others, but in this case, it was really hard not to be intimidated.

I wanted to just give you pure final level energy, the intensity is cranked up to 1000% and the emotion that you feel throughout the song is depressiong yet hopeful. The idea was so big that I had some serious help from 4sythe! Without their help, I wouldn't have been able to get nearly as far on this project as I did! They helped me clean up the song and showed me a few tricks to make it sound even better! Thank you!

Death Egg Act 1 (Reloaded)

I really pushed myself this time! I wanted to go back and clean up a few songs because I have plans to release a demo for Sonic 3 AIR very soon! I seriously don't think I could be happier with how this turned out! I wanted to go out of my comfort zone and adress some of my weaknesses as a composer, ESPECIALLY when it came to mixing, which is honestly my worst nightmare lol. So I kept adding and changing things until I couldn't figure out what to do with it. I did things I have never even thought to try before untill I ended up with something perfect, or at least in my opinion! 

This is still my favorite song in the OST, and even more so now. I hope to inspire others to push themselves in their oassions just as I'm doing. It is so worth it.

I've been so busy with other projects that I haven't been able to put out any new music for Reloaded. Even though I've been busy, I've also been improving like crazy! While I don't think every song on the OST needs an overhaul besides mixing, I realized that there are certain songs I could have done more with. Though instead of me going into detail about every new change I made, I'll let this one speak for itself. I hope you like it!

I've been so incredibly busy these past few months that I haven't had time to do anything for myself! Now that I have finished all of my important projects, I can finally go back to do things I've just been DYING to do. One of which is updating the rest of Reloaded so that it's consistent in quality throughout the entire soundtrack.

While I do love Reloaded, it was created during a time where I was still very new to chiptune, which is why there are songs that are great, and songs that have definitely NOT aged well. My goal is to comb through all the old songs and give them a fresh new coat of paint!

In terms of Flying Battery....I thought version 1 was cute back then????

You know, part of the reason this soundtrack is so difficult to work with sometimes is because of how out of date a lot of these songs are. A lot of things that I didn't understand, a lot of really bad mistakes I made, aren't really a problem for me anymore. 

I have a strong temptation to reupload a few of the newer versions that are in the AIR mod, since there is better mixing, corrected rhythm, etc. 

Honestly though, the thought of that really upsets me, so I'm just gonna keep it moving and worry about it later!
