For 19th episode of Snippcast we asked our good friend from Serbia for a mix. Igor Radošević aka Cosmic G is a DJ with radioshow called «Castello Bianco» on Amok Radio and also makes music. Cosmic G tracks with his teammate Laars are released on compilations from Haŵs, Comma Traxx and Snippets Music. Few days ago Igor and Laars announced their debut EP that will be released soon on tenth release by Croatian label Vakum Records.

Игорь известный белградский диджей и ведущий радиошоу «Castello Bianco» на Amok Radio, а также он создает собственную музыку. Fresh episode of Snippcast was recorded by Artem from Moscow, who produced electronic music under aliases Navechno and Local Acid Club. Navechno’s “Dreamworld” EP was released on Snippets Music early this May. 

For the mix Navechno has presented some music that inspires his works a lot and that which can be most often heard in his dj sets: an hour of house, electro, trance and, of course, his signature acidic sound, which can be clearly seen in “Dreamworld” and other releases by Artem. Have a good listening!

Community is everything at Nowadays. The Brooklyn space is a focal point of New
York’s electronic scene, known as a second home to a talented group of local resident DJs, as well as a large number of the city’s LGBTQ+ clubbers. In addition to the indoor floor pictured, the venue
spans a larger outdoor terrace (home to the club’s much-loved Mister Sunday series through the summer) and a restaurant called Diner by the Izakaya, and with a rare 24-hour licence, the biggest parties can often stretch well into the following day. 

To represent the sound of the club, DJ Voices laid down an atmospheric set of broken club rhythms,
jungle and more.

The latest release from Cragie Knowes comes from A Sagittariun - a prolific producer who you may know from many releases on his own label Elastic Dreams, or a myriad of other imprints, from Secretsundaze & Idle Hands to Futureboogie - A Sagittariun now makes his debut on Cragie Knowes with a three-track EP dedicated to the late Andrew Weatherall.Having dabbled in every shade of house, techno, electro and everything in between over the last decade, A Sagittariun is a producer as diverse as he is prolific. This EP is no exception to this diversity in sound, with three tracks spanning 20 minutes offering plenty of flavour of all sorts. Having said this, the first two tracks are much more in line with what we have come to love and expect from Cragie Knowes: hard-hitting, futuristic, break-tinged electro. The title track, some four on the floor electro with plenty of bleeps, bloops and acidic synths is a great tune. B1 “The Soft Machine” is the toughest track on the EP, deep, dark & brooding quality that feels right at home in the Cragie Knowes discography. Yet the third track, and our premiere of the day, is the obvious standout for us.The backbone and stable momentum is established from the first second, an open hi-hat hits with the first second of the track and ends on the last beat, never changing apart form a covert shift in pitch every now and then. Upon these pillars, A Sagittariun builds a long, evolving journey. Deep chords set an ambient tone, while funky stabs feed the dancers with a burst of energy and blissed out synth lines emerge and dissapear throughout. With what will surely make for a beautiful moment once the world is ready to party once again, A Sagittariun gives us a track would surely make Weatherall proud.

Following up to his 2017 summer anthem ‘Please Stay’ which gleaned over 4M views on YouTube to this day, French producer Matthieu Faubourg makes his long awaited return on STRCTR with ‘Infinity’ - an enticingly lush four-tracker made up of two original jams and a pair of matching reworks courtesy of Amsterdam based vibist Frits Wentink and Parisian producer Leo Pol. Giving its title to the EP, the opening track ‘Infinity’ has us gliding in a stream of dreamy euphoria without further ado. Meshing a thoroughly pumping, piano-splattered Chicagoan shuffle with sturdy, knee-buckling bass work to lose your body and soul to, the track ushers all onto the dancefloor for what can be described as quite the hectic ride. Sensuous and addictive to the full, ‘Infinity’ finds a more melodically introspective incarnation in Frits Wentink’s revamp. Synths blooming and expanding into lavish corollas of prismatic beauty, the groove unfolds seamlessly, resounding with the kind of kaleidoscopic oneirism that'll beam up after crowds into another dimension entirely. Flip sides and here’s ‘Far’ lifting us off to upper spheres of hedonistic urges and cosmic luvin. As filtered synth envelopes, playful robotics and rousing percussive rhythms entangle in a symbiotic ballet of sleek machine talk and pure emotional wellness, Faubourg continually expands the scope from dancy sequences to pensive stasis. Cranking up the temperature to sizzling levels, Leo Pol dishes out a plain banging reshape thatwill tear up any dancefloor with its perfect balance of impactful uptempo swing and nostalgiadrenched mellifluousness. Sure to whip up clubs and festivals into a seriously infectious frenzy, ‘Infinity’ cements Faubourg’s status as one of today’s house scene’s most inspired frontmen.
