10th anniversary Snippcast was recorded by St.Peterburg based Pavel Komartsov, who released two great releases this year, on Estonian label Gestalt and Too Rough 4 Radio from Berlin. Actually we’ve been following Pavel for quite some time. The guy has a taste we should say. So it feels especially nice to get not just a mix for our podcast series, but also a track which will be released on our second Snippets Music's VA in October.

As we breathe in the fresh Autumn breeze, we welcome Boulderhead onto the Breathecast for some much-needed beats during these trying times. 

Having recently released on esteemed Estonian Label Gestalt Records and featuring on a recent NHS Fundraiser compilation from Bristol-based ‘The Bottle’, Boulderhead continues his hard work with forthcoming projects on his own label and Yellow Island Records. 

The Mint Tea Records founder lays out an alluring concoction of luscious melodies and sonorous synths, seasoned with tasteful smatterings of acid throughout the mix, showcasing exactly what this man and his productions have to offer.

We’re Going Deep is a new label run by an old head – Paul Wise aka Placid, born out of a lifelong affair with the many shades of deep electronic music and a thirst for collecting records since 1989.

Rather than staying too hung up on the past, the label’s mission is to release new music for the dance floor, your front room or even just your headphones. If you’ve come across the We’re Going Deep forum – you’ll know all about the journey and the collective digging that goes deep into Acid, Electro, Techno, Deep House and even the odd foray into downtempo territory.

Kicking things off in style, Volume 1 is a four track ep made by four brilliant artists. First up, a legend in the 303 business, Tin Man drops an up-front 303 workout as he takes a large slice of ‘88 influence and delivers a jam packed full of purist panache. Next up, Derek Carr brings his own unique sound of warm detroitesque techno, replete with catchy electronic hooks that draw you in and stick in your head for weeks. On the flipside, close friend and fellow TB-303 enthusiast Posthuman delves deep into his box of tricks. Keeping the acid to the bare minimum on his contribution, he provides an epically deep slice of melancholia led by beautiful chords that keep everything moving. Last but not least, Dircsen slows everything right down and takes us on a journey of pure 303 bliss that will delight newcomers and old heads alike.

Winter was fast approaching, turning the bright auburn and orange leaves underfoot crisp with cold. The grey landscape mirrored the expressions of the inhabitants that walked the streets. You'd be hard pressed to find a smile in these parts. Perhaps it was self-preservation, an "every man for themselves" mentality. Or maybe it was simply the turn in the weather; a sure dictator of mood in the city.

A celebration of the artists and friends who've worked with producer Thoma Bulwer at his TB Mastering studio in Hackney Wick, the next release on his own Parasol Culture imprint comes in V/A form, bringing together a huge line up of collaborators and affiliates. Aptly titled Wick Voyagers, the 14-track compilation showcases the sounds of the artists and their respective labels, featuring exclusive tracks from Voigtmann, Paranoid London, N-GYNN and Adam Curtain and, of course, Thoma himself alongside Anna Wall, Subb-an, Johnny Aux and Oli Silva.

Metropolitan Soul Museum is a London based duo with the members' Nick & Filippo. The pair met in 2012 and two years later they started making music together and began a new project called Metropolitan Soul Museum aka MSM. 
Their sonically melodic electronic music is also performed live on stage. The duo's four-track journey contains warm acid-tinged and ethereal soundscapes. Available exclusively on Bandcamp.
