We are excited to welcome Australian artist Moontide to the Earthly Measures family with his truly beautiful EP 'Dreams Within Dreams' including remixes from Kusht and ourselves.

Dreams Within Dreams is built entirely from field recordings captured in churches, temples, and other places of ritual. The EP marks Moontide's use of exclusively analog synthesisers for the drums and melodies, which respond to these recorded environments.

The work explores the acoustic properties of these intentional spaces, their reverbs, silences, and ambient textures. Each track layers these field recordings with analog synthesis, creating compositions that exist somewhere between documentation and interpretation.

The mobile synth rig pulses with ambient techno and experimental beats, its LEDs glowing in sync with the lake’s radiant reflections. This vlog-style session captures the serene beauty of Skåne’s dusk, blending vibrant soundscapes with nature’s glow. Watch the patch cables weave sonic magic under the fading light.

2020 Visions - best of 2020

I fell in love with electronic music arount 2011 when I went to my first rave. In 2023 I got inspired to start making music myself for fun and that sent me on a journey of exploring which medium I enjoy playing and ended up with a eurorack modular case made for playing live. Here you will find what comes out of that :)
