Their knack for club bangers has seen their heaters spun by heavy weights LO’99, Go Freek, Joel Corry, Wongo, KLP, Piem and tastemakers on triple j, BBC Radio One and Sirius XM. This established footprint is the perfect launch pad for SODF’s ‘Like That’, an absolute weapon aimed for the dancefloor. The single is set to continue the pair’s dominating spree; having released music on labels such a Nightbass, IN/ROATION and Club Sweat over the past the year.

My approach to making and playing dj sets, is polyrhythmic leaning, alien or earthy freaks of nature having some sort of moment of realness. Feels that sit outside the comfort zone, or lay in to the situation.  I like to think of them as outlier cuts, or just shit Im in the mood for. Music is temperamental and situations make the sound bloom. I challenge myself to play new with old, with industry legends next to bedroom producers. You’ll hear some of my edits, loops and originals peppered in.

25 years performing, dancing, & studying with intent. Some examples are playing free jazz in Calvin Weston’s Big Tree (Philly Gold Star) or living with a master-drummer in West Africa learning to play poly-rhythmic voodoo music. I’ve curated afrobeat vinyl sets for the Kimmel Center, and opened for acts such as the Flaming Lips & Disco Biscuits. One of the newspaper reviews said it sounded like Frank Zappa meets A Tribe Called Quest. 

I’ve travelled to far away places to seek out authentic music culture, and hunt for the super rare. I put all that knowledge to work when I switched to playing exclusively electronic in 2022.
