The official record label of DJ/Producer Seven Lions, Ophelia is a label that promotes independent music, and is the official home for the music of Seven Lions since 2018. In just over a year, Ophelia has become one of the hottest new labels in bass music, with collaborations and releases from acts such as SLANDER, Excision, Jason Ross, NGHTMRE, Wooli, Trivecta, MitiS, Blastoyz, Crystal Skies and Last Heroes. I just made this.

Some reasons I haven't uploaded anything here in a year and a half:

- A lot of the projects I've spent the most time on are very complex, so they quickly burn me out as I'm trying to keep a clear picture of the whole thing in my head.

- After listening to a WIP for a few days while working on it, I've had my fill of that specific thing I felt like working on for that moment in time, and you can tell I'm not in the same groove if I continue to work and you compare the most recent additions to whatever came before.

- I have no idea where to go with a lot of cool fragments of music I put together, aside from just taking them apart and dragging out and recombining different elements, which bores me. I can only imagine them as the tiny fragments they are.

- I went back to using the demo version of Renoise for a long time.

But this thing is short and simple and it sounds nice and I'm not going to overthink it. Enjoy it.

This is the Matriarch running through an Avalanche Run V2 in stereo.

I was going to name it "The Mother Of All Earthquakes", referring to both the Matriarch and Earthquaker pedal, but then I decided to google that and the top hit was Zechariah 14:3,4 which contains the line:

"And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives"

The music itself feels more like a landscape piece until the earthquake at the end so this title felt a lot more poignant.

The first in a series of techno / house based various artist compilations.

Each artist was tasked with answering the question, "What does techno mean to you?" Naturally, we expected everyone to interpret this prompt from their own personal context and perspective, yielding a plethora of different results and vibes (all of which will make you want to move on the dance floor), whilst maintaining a consistency through out that we could only have hoped to achieve, but definitely didn't anticipate!

We've long been eager to bring this project to fruition, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome of this first installment.
