I made this song in 2018, while trying to avoid expressing the issues I was facing with my mental health. I like to hope that I've learned better coping mechanisms since then, but I'd be a liar if I said I haven't slipped into old ways. This feels very different than anything I've been making in the 2 years after, so it's important to me to release it as a time capsule for myself. I hope it means something to someone else, too.

Brooklyn hip-hop artist and Emmy-nominated filmmaker SO4P first caught attention as a collaborator of DAP the Contract, Roaring NICE, Kamaria Woods, and Toneraps. Brought to us by his own Spotless Productions, 'The Diagnosis' is an intimate dive into SO4P's world, full of both darker struggles with mental health and brighter signs of love and support. He continues to focus on bridging communities, and telling the stories that will make space for honesty across the entertainment industry.
