Coping Mechanism

"Spatial" is a documented sound installation by Igor Dyachenko that emerges at the intersection of tracking data sonification and artistic exploration. Inspired by a hike up Agung volcano in Indonesia the work transforms the journey's experience into an emotional soundscape. 

The artist converts gps data and biometric indicators collected during the trek into an auditory plane, reimagining the physical and emotional journey as an auditory experience. The foundation of "Spatial" lies in the sonification of diverse personal data gathered during the ascent of volcano. Altitude, coordinates, time, heart rate, and blood oxygen levels serve as the source elements, each shaping the resulting soundscape. 

The soundscape of "Spatial" is an atmospheric composition that immerses the listener in the artist's unique personal experience. Flowing textures and multilayered sound atmospheres unfold as a journey, blurring the boundaries between physical presence and auditory imprint. The installation evokes a sense of timelessness, engaging the audience in an emotional journey that reflects the acquired experience, state, and challenges of the ascent and descent—both physical and mental.

This coming autumn 2015 Stellar returns to its good ol’ capital with an eve brimming with young artists to help you find a native autochthonous groove. One that is inspired by a style that has not yet fully made its hole in our interstellar base. Inspired by the Electronica genre, Dedale honors us with an improvised Drone live set.

His paraphernalia? The Volca trilogy (Bass, Keys, Beats) a distortion pedal, Queen filters and a touch of Ableton plug-ins. Everything leads us to a unique path that will reveal some of his inner labyrinth, so complex:45 minutes to let go, for the pleasure of discovery.

Pour cette rentrée 2015 Stellar retourne vers sa bonne vieille capitale  qui déborde de jeunes artistes afin de vous dénicher un autochtone inspiré d'un style qui n'a pas encore totalement fait son trou sur notre base interstellaire. Féru d'Electronica, Dedale nous fait l'honneur d'un live Drone improvisé.
Son attirail ? La trilogie Volca de Korg ( Bass, Keys, Beats ) une pédale de distorsion, les filtres Queen d' Electrix et une touche de plug-in sur Ableton. Le tout nous guide vers un sentier inédit qui nous dévoilera une partie de son labyrinthe intérieur si complexe. 45 minutes de laisser aller, pour le plaisir de la découverte.
