I'm generally going back and remixing some of my earlier tracks that I liked. This is a remix of Chill in the Sea. Original description:

I got a Humble Bundle of a bunch of loop packs and VSTs, and decided to challenge myself to make UNDERWATER LO FI just because, using mostly stuff from the HB. Most of what you hear in this is loops from that HB, plus some fantastic Surrealistic MG-1 Plus providing us with faux whale sounds. And of course Chris the Vocaloid mumble rapping for us. Yep.

Some of the bass loops are supported underneath by a 3x OSC that matches the notes. The electric piano near the end is a Flex thing I did in the piano roll. But yeah, other than that it's mostly loops and samples.

Another world, another time...

The Carads, masters of science and technology, live in the city of Rajma, apart from their Relian siblings, who are magic users, and the almost unknown Ba'hari shape shifters that were pressed into labour as spies and agents.

As the three suns set on Rajma, taking their multi-coloured shadows with them, the neon lights of the futuristic capital city arise. And it's in the clubs for hackers and other unsavoury technologist elements that their creations, the androids, sing for the patrons.

Hacker Ray-ah and her girlfriend, the android Jazeh, have other ideas, involving freedom and self-determination, for Rajma's latest citizens-to-be.

Another remix for Alchemy HQ. I really debated with myself trying to rerecord vocals or whatever, but in the long run, I don't want to completely redo these songs. I just want to make them easier on the ears. :D

Beyond the Lines (Jaoushingan mix)

You might think of this as a sequel of sorts for Beyond the Lines. Really, that song is cursed. I'm not going to elaborate on that, but it made me depressed for Reasons, and this one also made me depressed for Reasons, and in spite of it having a pretty nice music part (and Celica Soldream's robot doppelganger filling in for some vocal stuffs) I'm really ready to be done with it.

This is the first "full" thing I finished out in Bitwig. Mostly loving it. Missing a few Live and even FL features. =_=

You ever just feel stressed and want to be somewhere else, where your problems are far away and you can just take a break and relax as long as you want to? I'm so pleased to be able to revisit this finally, with better tools, more experience, and more ideas.

Circle Town (Taleia HDR remix)

Third time's the charm I guess. 😹 This is a mild re-imagining of the original song with much better tools and skills. The original (https://soundcloud.com/soaria/beyond-the-lines) came during early 2020 as a pandemic project. The update (https://soundcloud.com/soaria/beyond-the-lines-jaoushingan-mix) came as a literal remix, still using FL Studio, but imo, still fairly bleh. This one is using Bitwig, FL as a plugin, and Synth V as a plugin. Three DAWs at once, no big deal really. ^^;

The concept was originally inspired by "Love, Chuunibyou, and Other Delusions", and has some personal stuff thrown in too. Well, without further ado:
