Today we find ourselves back at home, together, after many months on the road from our various projects. 
Our core focus to finalise our forthcoming Singles, it feels symbolic that three years on we find ourselves coming full circle to finish this same song we started that very first day.

We reflect on how much has changed & how much is still the same. From my 9-5 desk job to now writing music & DJing around the globe. From his bed room ambitions to being the forefront of dance music subculture. We're still two young dudes, that love the ocean, hanging with our friends in the city we've grown up in & hunting for things that inspire us.

Walter Sobcek are a French duo from Paris.

Since 2010, Walter Sobcek have been generating serious blog heat around the world thanks to a handful of beautifully constructed official remixes (Housse de Racket, Bastille, Chilly Gonzales, Sebastien Schuller among others) and the release of 2 EPS (Je me souviens and Miami) which brought them also to mainstream exposure on french TV (M6, W9, MTV Pulse....)

In 2012, their cover of the Hall and Oates classic “She´s Gone” was picked by Les Inrockuptibles to feature on their covers compilation with among other Hot Chip, Brigitte and José Gonzalès.

In 2013, Walter Sobcek released "Milkshake d´amour" with a self-directed video. They also produced the upcoming first EP of french hedonist-pop band Destin on Polydor / Universal Music. "Mirage" first single out in October 2013!

The duo is currently finalising its first LP featuring collaborations with Lifelike, Mereki, Alain Chamfort, Tamara Kaboutchek among others...

Walter Sobcek is a French duo from Paris, who have just released their 2nd single, Miami.  

Over the last 12 months Walter Sobcek has generated serious blog support around the world thanks to a handful of beautifully constructed remixes. This mix work includes Kitsuné's newest signings Housse De Racket, Keren Ann, Phoenix, Nightwaves for Binary Entertainment and You Can Dance by Chilly Gonzales, which picked up support from BBC Radio One's Annie Mac, Rob Da Bank and RCRD LBL. Their debut single Je Me Souviens was released in September last year, building further blog hype, but also brought them mainstream exposure in their native France thanks to picking up heavy rotation on national TV channels W9 and M6.

Miami was recorded and mixed with the help of producer Samy Osta (Chromeo, Cocosuma and Syd Matters). The single package includes 4 remixes of Miami by Allen Walker, Muffin, Pharao Black Magic and Kido Yoji, plus bonus track Hollywood Cries.
