DJ Alias: DWreckless

Dwreckless (AKA Derek Tao) was raised in Cerritos, CA and will be playing a mixture of sounds from Hip-Hop and feel good vibes with a splash of comedic moments to bring a set that will hopefully make people dance and bring smiles to to people’s faces. He aspires to continue expanding his creative abilities on DJing and hopes to learn a lot from all the creatives that surround him. Because  ACODJ, Djing has become his creative outlet.

Concept inspiration(s): 
(1) I believe as an artist, we should create what WE want to create; that what we create is representing, speaking, or symbolizing ourselves, then putting it out there is a bonus for making our heart feel more full from others enjoying it too, 
(2) I understand languages ARE barriers, but they are barriers we are ALL able to climb over! In kdramas, movies or anime, we have subtitles, and in music it takes a bit more effort (but not much) to just find the lyrics to understand / feel the songs with languages we don’t understand. If we choose to care, we will take the extra steps, those who don’t; they’re missing out on GOOD ASS MUSIC. 
(3) music is SELF INTERPRETATION, our self interpretation of music allows certain songs and sounds to resonate with us. So if others don't feel the same that's fine, but for those who do, then we vibin' together
(4) kdrama called Crashing Landing On You

Learn to expand your capacity for love/forgiveness. You are not your thoughts, so there is no need to embody all that you hear in your mind.

We go through life holding the expectations of ourselves and of others like a knife to our throats. We forget to show love for our own well-being. 😔

Let’s not make life any harder than it already is. Forgive yourself of your past and allow yourself to start a new era of your life! 🙌✨

Growing your love is a practice, like all things. Take time in your days to give your Self some care. Trust your Self and listen to your body.
