Following up from her ‘Birds’ EP, BLANCAh has once again extended her skills and delivered yet another well rounded release. Titled ‘Soturno’, this all original three track EP reflects BLANCAh’s versatility and strong sense for self-expression. In its entirety, ‘Soturno’ will touch the furthest corners of your mind and embrace every curve of your soul. 
The title track ‘Soturno’ certainly wastes no time and immediately ushers you toward a one way excursion of intensity. Eerie synths, ghastly bass lines and sneering high hats carve out the depths of this track, yet it also embellishes some rather quirky soundscapes and obscurities, all of which highlight BLANCAh’s own love for all things weird and wonderful. 
Riding in upon a myriad of percussion and bold drum layers, is the EP’s second track ‘Arestas’. Accompanied with flurries of contemplative piano chords and a surging urgency, this track generates an extremely powerful energy. ‘Arestas’ can best be described as a musical treasure chest, overflowing with an abundance of hidden beauty. 
‘Ode a Um Corpo Imperfeito’ is the icing on the cake for ‘Soturno’ and plays a key role in transforming this EP into a masterstroke of self-reflection and artistry. Possessing clean basslines and an array of simple yet profound percussive elements, this tracks vibe seems to march and meander with a mighty presence, skulking with a severity that adds life to every chord, beat and thrum.

After the global success of their first EP of 2016, ‘On’, including remixes by Techno legend Paco Osuna and Chloé, Monkey Safari is the name on everyone’s lips, and summer lineups. Now they’re out with their follow-up EP entitled ‘Bernstein’ with two original tracks and remixes by none other than John Digweed & Nick Muir as well as Spanish DJ and producer UNER. This release showcases the German brothers’ darker side, combining deep trance-like rhythms with resonant sounds. At the same time, the release pulls you in with dreamy, head-in-the-clouds melodies, perfect for both sunrise and deep club sets alike.  

This release demonstrates Sven and Lars’ move into the limitless domain of the “experimental” since the launch of their new label ‘Hommage.’ As their career grows and transforms, it becomes more and more clear that they have found a medium in which to display their differing genre preferences and production styles. Part two of the four EPs dedicated to compiling some of the key artists based around Oliver Huntemann’s Hamburg label. Senso Sounds Level 02 maintaining the vibe Senso has become synonymous with - dark yet funky techno and tech house made to move bodies the world over. Veteran German DJ / producer André Winter steps up with 'Carte Blanche' - a perfect example of the honing of his craft over the years. The track is a lean, mean technoid excursion - firing along over a pulsating groove and throwing in detuned synths for maximum delirium.
Maksim Dark proceeds with 'Addendum' - the young Russian locking directly into a thick, juicy groove and staying focused throughout its journey. Shaded (aka Skyler Taugher) brings 'Sip Trip' to the table, and it sees the highly rated American deliver a trippy, acidic journey sure to melt minds. Alex Lühr rounds off the release with 'Atlante' - another stripped down slice of hard as nails techno that will delight DJs and dancers alike.
