SOEL - Everybody Dies In Their Nightmares.

The sixth EP of Infinite Depth is produced by the Spanish artist Asonante (@asonante). It has been a long wait till a new release of this characteristic producer, but it’s finally here. Asonante managed to create two atmospheric and dark, but still melodic tracks: ‘Appearances’ and ‘The Silfos’. The first one got a more melodic touch by Oliver Winters (@oliverwintersuk) and the second one got into the techno hands of Symmetric & Future of Matter (@Symmetricofficial & @futureofmatter). This all forms a four-track banger of an EP, called ‘Daydream EP’.

‘Appearances’ is a great example of the unique sound of Asonante. A frightening and appealing sound drags you through the whole track, surrounded by a catchy melody. Toward the end of the track this appealing sound falls down and so it creates its climax.

The touch of Oliver Winters made the previously described track even more haunting, but also more melodic. He managed to create a very captivating melody, which got enclosed by the elements of the original.

The third track, called ‘The Silfos’, is a big dancefloor banger with an atmospheric and floating lead, also characterizing for the sound of Asonante. During the track a second hovering layer comes in which brings the track to its peak. 

Symmetric & Future of Matter applied their view on ‘The Silfos’ by creating a spacey techno remix. They took the main lead and fenced it in with hypnotic elements. Perfect for a stretched out techno set.

"The 9th release of Infinite Depth will be in the name of the Italian producer Recode. Three well shaped originals accompanied by two great remixes by respectively the Italian Alberth and Dutch newcomers Convolute.

'Irreale' is the title track of the EP. It's a track with a catchy melody and interesting arrangement of percussion. It brings a lot of groove with in between the groove lingering breaks, creating impressive moments.

In the remix by Alberth, he replaced the groove for a more atmospheric techno approach. With his typical deep and immersive sound, he managed to create a very suitable remix, which is perfectly in line with the original track.

The third track is called 'Artefatto'. In this track Recode took his groove to an even higher level by letting the percussion and bass communicate in a unique way.

'Sospiro' could be seen as the most optimistic track of the EP. A beautiful melody, which floats fluently through the track, is connected with a matching lead, which are shaping a dazzling ambiance together.

The remix of 'Sospiro' by Convolute could be seen as driving version of the original track. They took the main idea of the original and surrounded it by some more progressive sounds. To keep the emotion they managed to add a touching synth, which gives the EP a powerful end."

The Dutch upcoming Jaden Raxel (@jadenraxel) is the one who provides the 19th EP of Infinte Depth. With his characteristic fierce synth-work he created three originals of which one collaboration with the Austrian Severin Su (@severinsu). This collaboration is also the title track, called ‘Words of Zeus’.

‘Calm Before the Storm’ is the first track of the EP and it immediately sets the tone with a groovy, but high tensioned and dark mood. A pleasant composition of synths is getting through at the breaks, but right at the moment you think it’s going to be dreamy, the main lead hits you back. All this together forms a forceful, but still gentle, first indication of an upcoming storm.

The title track is a theatrical track representing the core of the storm in which the words of Zeus are echoing around. Jaden Raxel and Severin Su turned these words into sound and they managed to add a layer of vigorous emotions. As result of this combination the track is as overwhelming as a bank of dark clouds. Nevertheless, there is an optimistic spirit flowing through the track.

‘Upper Atmosphere’ can be seen as the storm arriving at its final destination. The mysterious tendency of the track lets you feel the turmoil, which is still present in the sky. The cutting synths and drums are reaching your ears through the final winds blown by this collection of tracks, forming an impactful end of the ‘Words of Zeus’ EP.
