On JEAHMON! we continue with a release by @thirstyeyesmusic, an established DJ and producer that kicks off a new alias. Thirsty Eyes has been composing electronic music for more than a decade under many aliases. His long lasting DJ career has helped him detect every single vibration from the crowd in the clubs and hes already been able to transpose this energy to his music in the studio. Now he's ready to widen borders between House and Techno with his genre-fluid vision about club music. The debut of Thirsty Eyes will be split into two releases and starts with RATE GATE, a dark and hypnotic track that combines a continuos powerful bassline with a mystic lead and adds a lot of energy to the dance floor. The remix for the title track RATE GATE was done by inhouse artist SNYL and this one goes straight into our specific Indie Dance genre and shows the development of the artist, taking his powerful brand into a new dimension. Let's open the gates for the dancefloors on this planet.

While Stephan Bodzin's Beatport No.1 album 'Boavista' still reverberates around the world, the techno mainstay has now collected 25 of the scene's most interesting artists to add their own remixes. The likes of Solomun, Dubfire, Mind Against, Roman Flugel, Agents of Time, Anna, Wehbba, Hernan Cataneo & Soundexile and many more all make this a richly diverse affair.

This is a collection packed with gems from the off: Diynamic label boss Solomun opens up with his lively melodic take on Rose featuring cosmic synths and neon pads, his label mates Adriatique then go deep with their take on River and Italian duo Mind Against layer up the astral synths to epic effect with their Earth remix.

Jupiter Jazz aka Maceo Plex & AVNU then link for a remix of Theory Of Everything that is filled with swirling synth colours and German maestro Roman Flugel flips Earth into a cinematic track with pensive pads and digitalised leads. There is also classy progressive house from Patrice Baumel, widescreen techno from ANNA and hard, acid tinged techno from Reinier Zonneveld as well as suppler rolling rhythms from Dubfire with many other standout remixes in between.

Boavista Remixes is an essential album packed with plenty of fresh perspectives from across the house and techno spectrum.

Stephan Bodzin - River (Adriatique Remix) Vs Stephan Bodzin - Earth (Mind Against Remix)

French brothers Betical, return to Oddity after being present on Odd Echoes Vol.4 and showing us their remixing skills on Avidus “Wanderer s Nightsong”.Now the time has come to present us their debut EP “Trouble”, including a fabulous remix by the duo Baime.

The opening track, "Trouble", is a groovy and melodic dancefloor weapon. Its main melody, catchy and haunting, gradually builds the track, accompanied by textures and percussions that complement each other. As we move forward and into the drop, the classic chord transitions and signature synths that make Betical unique and recognizable, play along a sort of emotional vocal ad lib, returning in full force to this dancefloor groover.

The next track in the pack is “Wildfire”, a deeper but still powerful heavenly melodic track, with Tailor's lovely vocals coming in full on the drop, creating so many beautiful harmonic layers with the synths and chords coming together.

In the remix duties, the Copenhagen duo, rework the track, with a distorted bass hook stab, adding their classic percussive elements, and playing with other elements of the original. The highlight of the track is when they show us their main melody, giving us a total twist on the original version.

To close the EP, betical presents “Oro”, a track more focused on electronica, with breaks rhythms, accompanied by vocal cuts, and pads that run through the track. The emotions never cease to surprise us in this last track, which makes it even more powerful when the main melody enters.

Don't stop is defined underground track with well built hi hats and percussions accompanied with raw classic bassline and appealing vocal effects. 

First remix comes from Pammin who is no strange to Submarine Vibes and it's listeners. After releasing couple of successful EPs on our label as well as Moodmusic he is back on Submarine with another beauty! He remixes Don't Stop and manages to perfectly integrate his signature style with enhanced elements from original version. 

Second Remixer is Mark Slee and he is also regular artist of our label. Anyone who has heard his remixes of Owlephant and Sound of Water released few month ago on our label will know what to expect from him, so his remix of Atlantis is no exemption and he delivers wonderful deep, warm and melodic interpretation of Atlantis.'

Sag & Tre is proud to present the first volume of "Freshly Picked" compilation, featuring a range of carefully picked music to kick off the New Year of 2019.
Featuring scene stalwarts signed to labels / collectives like All Day I Dream / Anjunadeep / Rebellion der Traumer / Dream Culture / Where The Heart Is + more, the compilation is set to turn a few heads, and stay in your record box for a while. The compilation also features a couple of newcomers, who compliment the entire piece offering something new, instead of deducting from the experience.
DSF is the next announced artist for this compilation. Picked up already by Gorje Hewek & Izhevski for an EP on their Shanti Radio Moscow imprint, the Greek native is receiving support from the finest names in the scene. Lee Burridge is one of these names in support of his amazing style.
This is one of the many Sag & Tre fruits off the compilation, all to be revealed before December 25th, when the compilation is up for pre-order. Artists like Powel, Jean Caillou and Ramiro Rossotti have already been announced to appear on the compilation. “Freshly Picked Vol. 1” will release on all digital stores and streaming services on Friday, January 4, 2019.
