I’m beyond grateful to have had the honor of opening the night for none other than Andre Kronert, my boss at our outstanding pressing plant MATTER OF FACT. Playing at this party and listening to those beautiful mixes - such as the mix of Bonjour Ben - was an experience, a journey through sound, surrounded by incredible people and a truly electric atmosphere.
From the very first record to the last, I felt completely in sync with the energy in the room. Sharing these moments with such amazing guests and my colleagues from the press plant made it even more special. This time, I had the pleasure of playing on two beautifully tuned turntables and what can I say? It was an absolute dream! After the little technical hiccups last time, it felt amazing to just focus on the music and soak in the incredible atmosphere. I’m truly grateful that events like this can happen and that I got to be a part of it. 
So huge thank to the team and to everyone who came out to dance and vibe with us! Your energy was the heartbeat of the night, and I’m beyond inspired by the connections we created through music. Nights like these remind me why I’m so passionate about vinyl and its raw, authentic magic.

This is just the beginning—can’t wait to bring this energy to even more clubs, festivals, and dancefloors!

INTERVIEW:
1. Gibt es ein bestimmtes Event oder Moment, an das/den Du Dich gerne zurück erinnerst?

Pilar: Oh ja, mein Auftritt auf der CSD Berlin 2024 als DJ zusammen mit meiner Gruppe von Flinta* Club Deck DJs - was war so ein schöner genialer Tag und die Stimmung auf den Straßen war sehr ausgelassen und fröhlich - ich liebe es, wenn Menschen für ihre Freiräume auf die Straße gehen und dabei friedvoll und glücklich sind! 

2. Was wünschst Du Dir, sollte in der Clubszene anders laufen?

P: Die Clubszene ist so ein großer Begriff - ich kann nur für mich im Kleinen Antworten: generell wünsche ich mir für alle Menschen, die hinter den Kulissen arbeiten, eine würdigere Entlohnung und für neue Artists mehr Chancengleichheit.

3. Wie würdest Du Deinen Sound beschreiben?

P: Ich erkläre das mit meinem Leitmotiv: 
In House music I trust! 

4. Was liegt Dir neben dem Auflegen noch sehr am Herzen?

P: Als Migrantin in Deutschland ist ganz wichtig für mich, Teil von etwas sein, das Gefühl zu haben, selbstverständlich dazu zu gehören. Dieses Gefühl möchte ich auch anderen geben, wenn sie zu meinen Sets kommen oder Teil von FLINTA* CLUB DECK sind.

5. Wenn Du ein Wort wärst, welches wäre das?

P: Powerfrau! 

6. Musik machen bedeutet für Dich …?

P: Das ist keine einfache Frage :) Haha 
Disziplin, Selbstbewusstsein, Kreativität und sehr viel Spaß! 

7. Du bist ja selbst mit Flinta* Club Deck sehr aktiv. Hast du Lust uns mehr über das Projekt zu erzählen?  

P: Gerne. Ich habe das Projekt Ende März 2024 im ://aboutblank und mit dem Support des Clubs gestartet und seitdem ist die Gruppe von FLINTA* DJs auf über 70 talentierte DJs aller Genres gewachsen - wir haben schon unfassbar viel zusammen erlebt. 

Ich bin stolz und glücklich über jede Person, die mir das Vertrauen geschenkt hat, mitzumachen, und ich freue mich auf viele weitere tolle Projekte zusammen - wie unsere Bühne auf der A100 WEGBASSEN -  “knallbunte Stadt - oder es knallt” zusammen mit dem blank, der Staub XS und What A Playground. 
Kommt alle am 17.05. Zur A100 Wegbassen Demo ab 14 Uhr zu unserer Bühne! 
Bucht uns gerne - wir freuen uns sehr über Möglichkeiten zu spielen! 

8. Hast Du bestimmte Pläne, Ziele, die du noch zum Schluss mit uns teilen möchtest? 

P: Oh ja! Ich singe gerne und aktuell arbeite ich mit einem sehr talentierten DJ und Produzenten namens Siggatunez zusammen… Ich hoffe wir können unseren ersten Track dieses Jahr releasen 💫 Und last but not least, irgendwann möchte ich meinen Lebensunterhalt mit bunten Musik-Projekten und als House Music DJ bestreiten und nicht nur als Architektin… und ich möchte gerne mehr auf der Welt unterwegs sein mit meiner Musik - und meiner FLINTA* DJ Gruppe - das ist mein Ziel!
