Officially created in mid-2019, the Zound project merges the talents of Sulex and Matej from the M2K duo, to combine their production and DJing experience. For their first release on Counterpoint, the Slovakian duo invited the two of Bristol’s fastest rising talents - Creatures and Jestah, for two amazing collaborations which complement the deep vibe of the EP with a pristine tech-rolling vibe.

Pushing forward on this new Counterpoint Recordings era, this EP showcases everything that our #basslineGroove stands for.

We welcome SD back to Dispatch with the “Toni Solidi EP”. The Italian maestro brings us 4 tracks of “solid tones” – the translation of which forms the title of the EP. 

‘Hatchet’ takes its name from Lock Stock’s ‘Hatchet Harry’, the tune is built from industrial foley samples and a looped voice track. Tight, sharp cuts and psychotic mumbling fitting perfectly with the character. 

The release continues this theme with ‘Mastadon’ a dark percussive stomper, ‘Wires’ packed with raw, nervous energy, and ‘Don’t You’ contrasting the rough, funk led beats with warm distortion and a liquid edge.

We welcome Dave Owen and NC-17 back to Dispatch for this 4 track EP featuring RMS, Black Opps and Dre.

Inspired by West Coast Rap and horror films of the ’90s, Dave Owen and NC-17 present four tough and driving tracks, packed with cinematic atmosphere and heavyweight drums.

The title track ‘Outlaw’ is a collaboration with Canadian talent RMS featuring the Los Angeles based MC Andre’ Dew better known as MC Dre – a staple in the USDNB scene to bring that full west coast flavour.

‘Night of the Creeps’ sees Brazilian producer Black Opps join the pair for a minimal rolling stepper, soaked in horror samples and creeping eerie vibe.
