It's the last month of 2021 and we decided to have another debut on the label to finish the year with a bang! This is the 1st time we have an artist from South America releasing on the label and this release surely brings on the heat! We would like to present you "The King Ep" by Dunk! 

This producer has been consistently releasing on very respected labels such as Critical, Dispatch, Playaz, 31 Records amongst others and we are happy he has decided to send us some music for us to give it a home! 

This Ep is composed by the title track as well as "Al Capone", "Boogie Baby", "Lego", "Volcanic" and "Groove Selecta". This release will be available for purchase on Beatport and Bandcamp exclusively on the 3rd of December before hitting all the other platforms on the 17th of the same month!

We're chuffed to have one of the scenes leading ladies on the 10 years anniversary release! A DJ at heart for decades. Producing and releasing on labels like Spearhead, Dispatch or Hospital, @Sweetpeadnb is also one of the driving personalities behind the EQ50 movement. When we made a poll for remixes, she hit us up. We started chatting and we found out that she had a sweet spot for The Crown by Taelimb. And so the decision was made! She completely flipped the minimal, stripped back & leftfield original and turned it into a dancefloor heater. Some of the darkest stuff we've heard of her yet and she keeps surprising!

Next up from Sofa Sound is the forthcoming collaborations from drum & bass heavyweights DLR, Break, Randall and Ulterior Motive, a collective who’ve all helped to pioneer the genre whilst staying inherently underground. Whilst Break and Randall have laid its foundations, producers like DLR and Ulterior Motive have shaped the more contemporary scene, although both tracks signify the colossal engineering standards of each featuring artist. The established names also bring their weight to Sofa Sound’s back catalogue, which has expanded since its creation by DLR in 2017. 

DLR, Break and Randall come together for lead track ‘Song & Dance’, an old-school reminiscent roller with snipped up, mc-lead vocal samples and jazzy instrumentals. The energy between all three artists is instantly recognisable, with Randall’s old-school approach shining through each layer. On top of strung guitar notes and a hook which nods to its namesake, ‘Song & Dance’ blends a mixture of styles to present a versatile addition to Sofa Sound.

Next comes ‘Modules’, featuring a combination of sonics recorded through Ulterior Motive’s modular set up. The ruminating drums and basses brought from the collections of their collaborators deliver its funkier elements, with the bassline fluctuating between notes and twisting its way through a melodic undertow. Alongside its unusual structure, the track’s organic approach and frequent switches grab its listener unaware. Another imperative release on Sofa Sound, the imprint has shown its commitment to artists from across the spectrum, through both its digital releases and physical discography additions.

Since its first release, DLR’s Sofa Sound has firmly solidified itself, proving that they’re set to continue the growth of their spearheading roster. Whether it’s the artists who’ve previously collaborated with DLR on other, more-longstanding independents, or the producers who DLR has personally picked from the Sofa Sound demos box, there’s already been a high calibre of tracks unleashed on the imprint. And with their next digital single in the pipeline, their growth remains unstoppable, proving that their initial groundbreaking commitment is still being adhered to. 
Forthcoming from Sofa Sound is the brand new release from Dub Head; inherently underground, the Ukrainian based producer has already made his mark on imprints like Ant TC1’s Dispatch Recordings. ‘Meltdown’ and ‘Space Worm’ are technically brilliant and prove why Dub Head is such a coveted addition to the likes of Sofa Sound and Dispatch Recordings. The A-side ‘Meltdown’ is a heavily percussive roller, with clanking drums, tinkering hi-hats and floating note sequences which add to the lulling atmospherics of its introduction. But when the record finally breaks, cold pads and Dub Head’s signature funky bassline takes you to a much lower frequency. Minimalist yet throbbing with power, Dub Head shows that you don’t need to bow to commercial viability to make a resounding impact. 
On the reverse, you’re taken into ‘Space Worm’. Dub Head promises to continue his assault, providing another record which is effortless in its complexity whilst wrapping the listener around its thumping bassline. Hollowed snares and crackling instrumentals interfere with the composition like static, as the record slowly begins to unfold segment by segment. Its more distorted elements add a jutting layer, providing a siren like-feel on top of its heavy breakdown, providing another undeniably weighty release from Sofa Sound.

‘CTS’ and ‘Condensed’ mark the fourth release from Sofa Sound’s digital-only collection since its creation in 2017. Having already released on imprints such as Samurai Music, Horizons Music, Dispatch Recordings and Gradient Audio, Mateba’s step towards the imprint sees him being added to another inherently underground, yet groundbreaking label. Joining the likes of Break, Randall, Hydro, War, Script and DLR himself within Sofa Sound’s back catalogue, it makes sense that he’d come under their radar. Having been featured in their sets globally, with Sofa Sound’s help fans are about to put a face to the music. And that’s just one more factor into their success, which has only exploded since their first release.

Incurzion Audio are proud to welcome a talented newcomer to the label, Bristol based Dedman, who has provided a huge and heavy hitting release - "My Heart EP". Guaranteed to ravage your sound system, Dedman has put together a serious collection of low-end driven drum and bass tracks, complete with a brilliant remix courtesy of Myth.

The title track "My Heart" is a deep but soulful number with a striking vocal and a beautifully complementing bassline, the progression of the track calculated and purposeful, and the sound engineering precise and perfectly fitting the vibe. The rest of the EP follows in equal measure of quality and power, and maintains the deep, bass-heavy nature throughout, however the soulful descriptor must dropped and can only be replaced with the word brutal.

Incurzion Audio gladly welcome Dedman to the label with this monster of a release, we can't wait to hear more.
