Biography Abstrakt aka Triangle

Triangle’s epiphany came pretty early to him: around the age of 10 he discovered that new songs could be created by mixing 2 different songs. The mixing principle was pretty basic over here: using the play and pause buttons on a dual cassette deck would do the trick for him. “Ghetto blaster mixing” is the correct term for this act, and Triangle learned this from his older brother. Although being very young, the first cornerstone to his musical passion would be dropped over here.
About 5 years later, his senses got tickled a little bit more, resulting in an expansion of his passion. Triangle made his first contact with electronic music, which was presented to him in the form of groove, retro and techno. Tracks like “Time Is Now” by Jamie Anderson, Jesus Loves The Acid (Acid Chant) by Ecstasy Club and the classic “The Dance (Living Room Mix) by Rhythim Is Rhythim pulled Triangle into the world of electronic music.  But this was only the first step, the second step would be established by a friend of his, who called himself DJ Switte. He introduced Triangle into the world of turntables and how to use them to mix music. As a direct result of these events, he decided to give it a go: within no time he could call himself a proud owner of turntables, launching him into the immersive world of crate digging, mixing and dance events. Becoming a passionate DJ meant he would be regular attendee of parties like I Love Techno, which was a leading event at that moment, and smaller gatherings in the Fuse and The Zoo. 
Continuously evolving into a more and more knowledgeable artist, with a very versatile taste in music, Triangle’s influential people are artists that are spread over different styles of music. Although house and techno are his core business if it’s about performing, you can’t deny the tastefulness of artists he worships.  Sven Väth, Josh Wink, Exium, Ekkohaus, Kindimmer, DJ Sneak, Guru (gangstarr) John Frusciante(aka Trickfinger), Leonard Cohen, Bob Marley, and many others just point out that his love for music is endless. 
Driven by this passion, the goal of his journey and his performances is pretty obvious: every listener, dancer, and just everyone that’s part of the audience will get the feel of his passion. The quality of the sound and the atmosphere are key concepts in his sets, and altogether, these elements create an utopia that instantly makes you forget about the world. As a producer, he tries to strive to perfection, something that doesn’t exist in the world of music. The imperfection that you’ll find is his music creates the happy oblivion, just for a moment and being timeless in that moment. The message? All good things do come in three, and that’s what Triangle is all about: music, passion and love.
