So Future Presents Algorhythms Vol.1 - Missy Elliott

ASEDA is the first single from the upcoming record album of the musical genius KWAME YEBOAH who played over 17 instruments professionally by age 17.

The outstanding multi-instrumentalist, producer and inspirational music director who has worked with international greats such as Yusuf / Cat Stevens, Craig David, Stevie Wonder, Shaggy, The Maestro Kojo Antwi, and many more shares his gratitude for life, nature and love with his debut jazz release.

ASEDA means gratitude in the Akan language of Ghana, and this song is the perfect representation of that feeling and the positive attitude that resonates in the country and its
people.

The tranquil melodies of ASEDA are rich and uplifting. It is beautiful, praise-worthy music to give thanks and praise to the Almighty and the kind souls all around us. Its masterful harmonic complexity is testament to the years Kwame has taken to master his craft in humility, and his extensive experience in delighting audiences worldwide with his upbeat, joyous performances.

The song’s composition is inspired by Kwame’s dynamic life journey and his sincere gratitude for the blessings that have been showered upon him. The heady sounds of ASEDA will transport you into the mind space of gratitude, bathing your imagination in golden West African sunlight and gently welcoming you into a whole new refreshing state of being.

Produced by @thekidkenzel, a multi-genre DJ turned Producer. The variety in his sets translates into his production as his sound explores all elements of hip hop, rnb, future beats, ukg, drill, baile funk, afrobeat and more.
His edit of "She's A B****" is a UKG led uptempo banger with Baile Funk elements that blends Hubert Laws' "No More" sample with Missy's iconic bars, putting a new spin on this classic record.

Produced by @citizenboysa is a gqom DJ and producer. He's one of the youngest artists of the Durban scene, but has already made a huge impact. He was one of the first artists published by the label, debuting in 2015 on the Gqom Oh! The ‘Party People’ track fuses together Gqom and trap, with the original missy melody. CITIZEN BOY says “The reason why I chose this song is because my mom is a Missy Elliott fan, she used to play ‘4 My People’ and ‘Hot Boyz’ a lot when I was young, so when they told me I can choose any song from Missy Elliott’s production these songs were the first to came to mind because I was very familiar with them.”

Produced by @djbenaiahofficial a DJ and Producer based in the Netherlands who has always been one to bring cultures together musically. He specialises in afro, hip hop, club edits and booty shaking beats. BENAIAH wanted to make Amapiano remixes of songs from the 2000’s and one of the first songs that came to mind was Lose Control by Missy Elliot. When asked about his approach, he said he “wanted to create a remix that would be fun to listen to while you’re laying out in the sun...So, I found some dreamy keys and nice guitar samples which I combined with the drums and it just clicked.”
