Born and raised in Japan, Leo Zen developed at a young age an intense passion for all things Bass. Originally immersing himself in the production side of music, he quickly discovered a knack for creating solid, grungy, hard basslines, incorporating deep melodic undertones that purveyed a sense of subtle urgency and emotion. Seeking to expand his knowledge and co-create with his peers Leo made the decision to move to one of the bass capitals of the world, British Columbia. Upon arrival  Leo quickly carved out a reputation for delivering extremely high energy sets; consisting of original production, diverse mixing, captivating stage presence, and an uncanny timing that has annihilated dance floors from Canada to Costa Rica, and all over Europe. With releases on Druid Records, Really Good Recordings, and Aufect Recordings, he has solidified himself as on of the premier Drum N Bass producer/DJ's in Western Canada. Always learning and growing Leo continues to use music as his tool to express his experiences, proving there are no boundaries, with the goal to elevate minds through sound!

Brace your ear holes for this sick silver-haired spin ninja who puts the “Old” in New York. Steve Sohl, better known as Sohlman, began spinning hip hop just after the Mesozoic era before the first modern humans discovered fire. Shortly after that he heard his first break beats in the basement of the East Village’s legendary Pyramid Club, Sohl was hooked. His old-school ways help him deliver the freshest of sets—from liquid to break beats while always respecting the classics. Sohl Patrol is literally a humanistic soulful quest for the latest and greatest drum and bass vibes. So take a Sohl stroll with the Sohlman every Tuesday night LIVE from 5-7pm Central / 11pm-1am GMT on Bassdrive. And remember, Sohl doesn’t takes things too seriously, unless of course it has to do with the junglist selection that defines his signature style.

Will Miles is a classically trained producer/DJ from the U.S. who currently resides in Perth. The diversity in his production style is due to the vast musical influences he's been exposed to over the years. Miles acquired his love of Drum n' Bass from his friend Kjell Anderson(who is half of their production duo Style Control) back in 1994. This quickly led Miles into DJing the following year, and into Drum n' Bass produciton in 1998. He would then sign 10 tracks with Thermal Recordings in 2001. He also joined the production team NUCO and held a residency for three years called Information Technology. In that same period of time he was resident at Europa, in downtown Richmond. In 2004 he released a single on his own imprint Miles A. Head. He then remixed a track called Second Protector by Kjell, that debuted on DJ Bailey's show on the BBC Radio 1XTRA in the summer of 2005. DJ Fabio debuted his music on Radio 1 the following year, and released a single on his imprint Creative Source. He has releases on many labels including, Pushin' Wax, Sonorous, Mix n' Blend, Influenza, Innerground, Nemesis, Deep Soul Music, Horizons, Influenza LTD., Point Audio, Westbay Music, MAC II, Elm Imprint, and Haunted Audio under the alias Dubyah. Miles keeps a steady DJing schedule. Having played all over the U.S. and across the Atlantic, he has honed his craft and can move any crowd.
