Following on from Wally Lopez’s original, German-born, US-based artist Nhii takes the raw materials and adds his own distinctive twist. 

“It was a true honor to remix a track by the legendary Wally Lopez. From the very first listen, I felt inspired to reinterpret the original by morphing its melodic elements into a more percussive framework, giving the track a fresh rhythmic direction,” Nhii explains. 

The result is a trippy, vibe-soaked journey into the night

The opening piece cuts immediately into the charming, familiar sound the Los Angeles based producer has become known for. Breezy yet relentless, the percussive-driven title track "Metroid" sits next to its equally club friendly neighbor, “Polaris.” On the flip, “Static Dancer” highlights the west coast brilliance of early Pacific Northwestern rave communities. The EP concludes with “Orbital,” a paced swinger built for the 7am floor mopping.
