Red Wine brings great energy and a progressive underpinning to proceedings. If anything represents Gai Barone's 'euphoric melancholy' self-styling, 'Red Wine' certainly hits that spot. Wonderful warm sustained and overdriven melodies with nuances of saturation become Gai's sound palette as he paints an aural image or rare vivacity and reflection.
