AMNESIA HOUSE - 30 YEARS OF RAVE - SEPT. 1, 2018 - Amnesia House is the original warehouse/rave organization from the Midlands in the U.K.  My first show with Amnesia House was in 1990.  28 years in the making.  So how do you prepare for a residency you had in the U.K. 28 years later?

You can't possibly play 30 years in a 90 minute set.  It's impossible.   I went back to the golden era of rave.  1988-1992.  Most of the redux stuff I do doesn't fall far from the tree.  It's the same songs with a different twist and that added with a few current things made this into one interesting set.  Everything was on the fly, my apologies for a few technical issues.

Wow, I really had no idea that I would fall back in love with Vinyl as much as I have lately. The warm sounds of the music along with a few authentic skips and or pops here in there definitely add to the adventures of making a DJ Mix. I wanted to record "Volume One" this coming weekend but the music "called" me late last evening (When the music calls, you definitely have to answer). Vol.1 just like the "Warm Up" is all analog, just two Turntables and a Mixer! (Not even any effects). Its really amazing how good getting back to the basics can feel sometimes. Lot's of classic tunes are on this one along with a few eclectic newbies to hopefully keep you guys dancing... (Enjoy)

Wow 2020 has definitely been a year for the ages, a year that none of us will ever forget. This year has been filled with anxiety and lots of uncertainty but if you're like me you leaned on your music now more than ever. We had to shut off the TV for a while, push back the newspapers and all of the crazy news articles and just drift off into that magical place that only music can take us. Music was with us in the car, on our runs in the park and even when we danced in our living rooms with our loved ones or even just dancing by ourselves. We knew it before but 2020 helped confirm that music truly is "Medicine." This is my last recorded set for this year and I just wanted to thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for all of your kind words of encouragement, thanks for sharing the mixes with your friends and thank you so much for all of your generous contributions (Via My Ca$h app below).
