The Sirius - Nordic Horn (Mauro Augugliaro Remix)

Presenting their third release of the year, Nikko.Z's Dopamine White welcomes Luman to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Argentina, Luis Robledo aka Luman has been a fixture of the progressive house underground for the better part of a decade. A 2016 debut via Pixbae Records would lead to a variety of successful projects actress the next seven years. Dreamers, MNL, Nature Rec, The Purr and more have all been landing spots for Luman's groovy sound, while Antrim, Armen Miran, Hernan Cattaneo, Sebastien Leger and Ezequiel Arias have been steadfast supporters along the way. Now, following a contribution to Polyptych's Pentaptych Vol. 11 collection, Luman makes his Dopamine White debut with 'Tornasol / Murphy'.

Beloved for his sleek, energetic brand of progressive house, Luman dials in another beauty with 'Tornasol'. Warm, full grooves anchor the journey while layers of billowing synths, delicate arps and ominous atmospheric phrasing add bounce and depth leading into the break. Advancing further across the interlude, Luman works hopeful overlays atop a tension filled underbelly, eventually peaking with prismatic colours as the groove drops for an emotive finale.

Meanwhile, the companion piece 'Murphy' continues to explore the emotive progressive narratives for which Luman has become known for. A tough, rippling groove sits at the foundation, while striking chord stabs, buzzing synths and hopeful pads pave the way to a thunderous drop, where colour and texture meet in a goosebump-inducing finale. It caps off an excellent two track showcase from Luman, who makes an impressive Dopamine White debut with 'Tornasol / Murphy'.

Agvstina - Disorder [Future Avenue]

D.J. MacIntyre’s SLC-6 Music opens the spring season by welcoming Ruben Karapetyan back to the label for his debut single. Following a ten-year hiatus, the Armenian-born, USA-based artist made a triumphant return to electronic music in 2020 with a series of the releases via Mango Alley, Movement Recordings and Univak. On the strength of his fresh, progressive sound Ruben quickly earned praise from the genre’s trendsetters Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, while also becoming a regular in Beatport’s competitive sales charts. Having made his first appearance on SLC-6 Music last year with a remix of K Loveski's 'Renzzo', the Los Angeles resident now returns to the label for his first single entitled ‘Meteorite’, alongside a remix from Jerome Isma-Ae. The Original Mix finds Ruben operating at the peak of his creative powers and aiming squarely for the dance floor. Elasticated synths, delicate chord stabs, percolating effects layers, charged beats and mountainous basslines form the solid structure of the track.  An emotive break, complete with thought-provoking vocal samples, puts your senses on high for an exhilarating finale.


Making his label debut, and providing the lone interpretation, is progressive music icon Jerome Isma-Ae. Having remixed the likes of Faithless, Hybrid, Paul Van Dyk and Way Out West, the German artist now overhauls Ruben’s ‘Meteorite’ in fine fashion. Beginning with a subdued pulse, Jerome masterfully builds the energy into an epic main-room stormer. Multi-dimensional stabs, flickering percussive arrangements and deconstructed vocals steal the air, while thunderous grooves and misty tension-filled atmospheres keep attention firmly locked on the dance floor.
