'Musique de Lune Records serves up a bumper collection of new tunes on this essential Various Artists collection entitled 'Rayons de Lune'. Featuring the likes of RIGOONI, Oliver & Tom, Legato, Julian Nates, Lucas Rossi, JFR and more over 12 top tracks. Headed up by Anjunadeep's JFR (Label Manager) and Jim Rider (Chief Music Officer) of All Day I Dream, TRYBESof and The Soundgarden fame, this talented collective has put their focus on developing a world class record label, whilst tapping into the industry disrupting potential of web 3 – including NFTs and the metaverse. They have also been running global events & experiences to help reinvigorate the post-pandemic music scene with celestial sounds.

LEGATO - It's Coming Over Me opens up with a classy house groove that has rich instrumentals and tropical vibes a plenty from the All Day I Dream stalwart. JFR - Sagrada is then a nice and dreamy cut with lovely ambient designs and a summery feel. After that the Soundgarden's Oliver & Tom's Nerea is a percussive house number with loose toms and an open-air magic, Julian Nates of Hope Recordings keeps it deep and driving and the young prodigy of Hernan Cattaneo fame Hector Cortes & Jaime Garza - Horizonz steps it up a little more more frazzled synths and rubbery drums.

The second half takes in more stylish house sounds from Arnold T & Alain Pauwels, Apollo Jr & Deviu - Oddity brings some rich melodic patterns that wash over you in waves as the breakbeats dance below, and Santi Cebrero and Sudbeat's Dabeat lock you into hypnotic house rollers. The final trio from the seasoned André Moret & NAHS (The Soundgarden), RIGOONI (Anjunadeep) and Lucas Rossi (Hoomidas / Dreamers) round out in classy and inventive house style with plenty of airy and organic feelings.

This is a vital new collection from this soulful new label - certainly one to watch!'

Deepwibe Underground welcomes André Moret, L Georges and Yudi Watanabe to the label for a two-track showcase. Based in Brazil and firmly entrenched in their country’s progressive music scene; Andre, L Georges and Yudi have all achieved measurable success in their respective careers. A collective discography showcases standout releases via Balkan Connection, Clubsonica, Droid9, Mango Alley and Nature Rec. Also highly regarded amongst the world’s electronic music tastemakers, the Brazilian artists have earned play and support from Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. Now, with their collaborative project already established with several releases to their credit, Andre, L Georges and Yudi add Deepwibe Underground to their resume with ‘Kamaria’.

With each successive project these three talents seem to build on their creative synergy. Title track ‘Kamara’ lands with a resounding thump as big rolling grooves and wavy arps make for a smooth hip swinging energy. Gentle overlays and subtle plucks advance the narrative, keeping rhythm locked while modulation shifts leading into the break. Emotion peaks here with hopeful pads and glassy clusters uniting in a wave of percussion and noise as the groove re-engages for a thrilling finale.

The companion piece ‘Cepheus’ continues the pure progressive lean with catchy chord stabs and trippy effects blanketing another rocking groove. A touch more introspective than its predecessor, misty sonics and hazy atmospheres provide a colourful backdrop for dancing arps and pristine percussion to drive energy into a melodic break. Grandiose and otherworldly in equal measure, the centrepiece comes straight out of a cinematic score, creating an amazing sense of space and emotion to cap off the release in style. With a few projects under their belts now, André Moret, L Georges and Yudi Watanabe continue to impress with their ‘Kamaria’ EP, which lands as perhaps their finest work to date. Highly recommended.

Clubsonica Records opens the spring season by unveiling the third edition of their Sampler Series. The Colombian imprint's popular MMW and ADE Various Artists releases have become an annual highlight for progressive music aficionados. Operating under a similar ethos, Clubsonica's Sampler Series made its debut in 2021 to resounding praise from fans and tastemakers alike, with an equally impressive follow-up landing in December of last year. Limited to five select tracks per release, the label has showcased music from trending newcomers like KAZKO and Ric Niels alongside long-standing veterans such as Kamilo Sanclemente and Solid Sessions. Now, presenting the much anticipated third edition of the series, Clubsonica features new music from (in order of appearance) Andre Moret, ARCADIA, Golan Zocher & Greenage, Hyunji-A and Julieta Kühnle.

Selection one finds Andre Moret returning to the label for his fifth appearance. World class DJs Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren have been regular supporters. Making a welcome return to the label, Andre delivers the sampler's lead selection entitled ‘Lorac'. As an apt barometer of where the Brazilian's headspace is at, he lets deconstructed vocals and prismatic effects descend over bold beats and charged rhythms, ultimately coming to an exhilarating apex which is sure to be a highlight amongst progressive house tastemakers in the coming months.

The second selection welcomes label debutant ARCADIA with his latest studio effort ‘Falling Sun'. Continuing an upwards trajectory as 2023 takes shape, ARCADIA now makes his Clubsonica debut with the peak vibes of ‘Falling Sun'. Instantly invigorating, its driving beats and electric grooves marry perfectly with tight percussive arrangements and emotive vocals. Coming to full fruition during the second act, ARCADIA's production prowess is on full display, as striking effects rise atop key-changing basslines, while remaining undeniably infectious during a spirited finale.

The collection's third selection and lone collaboration finds Golan Zocher and Greenage combining their extensive forces on ‘Mind Control'. Having worked together previously on ‘Lost Man', a track which highlighted Sudbeat's recent ‘Showcrates' collection, Golan and Greenage masterfully synthesize their talents once again for Clubsoncia with ‘Mind Control'. Replete with evolving, emotional and hypnotizing structures, the duo allows the listener to relish in its electric groove, building anticipation towards an apex of fragmented vocals, soaring riffs and elasticated synth swagger.

Making her label debut with the collection's fourth selection is Hyunji-A. Often sitting in the creative space between progressive house, deep house and melodic techno, the Canadian artist now makes her Clubsonica debut with ‘A Simple Truth'. Anchored by shuddering bass tones and striking percussive arrangements, its hook-heavy arps and prophetic vocals sit comfortably between the arcane and enlightened. Rising into an expansive break, hopeful atmospheres eventually melt down amidst waves of effects, while expressive modulation moves forward with a barrage of speaker-buzzing revelry.

The release concludes with Julieta Kühnle making her label debut with ‘Blazer'. Adding Clubsonica to her portfolio, Julieta rounds out the release with the groovy sounds of ‘Blazer'. Obsessive rhythms and hyperspace effects blanket titanium beats and hypnotic grooves across a colourful first movement, before infectious chord stabs take centrestage across a tension filled break, onwards to a mesmerizing finale. Smooth and exhilarating in equal measure, it rounds out a must have third edition of Clubsonica's Sampler Series, one where a fresh amalgamation of artists finds a perfect progressive state of mind.

Munich-based label Plattenbank proudly presents the new release by the Colombian progressive house guru Kamilo Sanclemente. This talented artist from Cali displays next-level talent and leads an intellectual take on the genre, pushing the boundaries and boldly going into uncharted territories. His 23-minute material includes two collaborations with his fellow countrymen Dabeat and Juan Pablo Torrez and one with his Brazilian colleague Andre Moret. Mantura with Juan Pablo Torrez is a work of art based on enchanting chords, seductive stabs, Latin melodic scales, intriguing otherwordly vocals, and progressive grooves. Vekants with Dabeat introduces another state of trance powered by futuristic sound effects, an arpeggio theme, and a fluid arrangement. Infinity with Andre Moret draws from a pallet of melancholia and joy fused in a colorful sonic landscape. The release is much more than a collection of powerful dancefloor tracks. Its also an inspiring home-listening oasis and an advanced work of art.
