Bassi J, Italian by birth, turned into a global citizen through his wanderings. He started mixing in Hangzhou, China in 2012. He banded together with a group of students and created UAi - Urban Art Ideas – a concept of parties that would involve both art & music. These parties became popular and ended up being spread across several clubs in the Hangzhou area. With a great ear for music, his thoughtful, layered DJ sets are embedded with meditative and deep nuances – the end result is just as suited for a nightclub dance floor as it is for a private party. Although his music production has varied througout the years, the core message still remains the same: sparking soul-alike people through music.

October’s edition comes from Molac.

Ecuador based Molac is a uniquely talented individual. With releases on labels such Watergate Records, Amulanga and Musique de Lune.  He recently remixed LOST founder Elliot Moriarty’s track (on Songuara), which found itself hitting the number 1 spot in the top 100 releases Beatport chart. 

His take and approach to making music is something admired by many, enabling him to team up with Organic House masters Gorje Hewek and Eduardo McGregor on previous projects. 

Support from the likes of Hernan Catteneo, Modd, Arina Mur and are regular occurrences for Molac, and we’re delighted to have him put together this mix for us.

This set is one that will work any environment, so hit play and enjoy!

Born and bred in Cancún, Mars Attacks (Bruno Rosas) crafts a spicy Ojo Rojo, drawing from his roots in the vibrant Mexican nightlife. His sets are a fusion of groovy house and eclectic jungle beats, honed through his experiences in Playa del Carmen and Tulum.

Mars Attacks doesn't just play music - he orchestrates unforgettable experiences, each set a meticulous blend of classic house, acid synth lines, balearic, and organic rhythms. Despite his young age, he's curated at Basis Sound Lab and founded AJAL, a legendary party series hosting events across Mexico. Now based in Puebla, he's making waves in the production scene with releases on Hot Since 82's Knee Deep In Sound, ROFD, and Schirmchendrink later this year.

Ojo Rojo is a traditional Mexican concoction of beer with tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, hot sauce, and lime. Mars Attacks' interpretation promises a sexy, groovy, and real house journey – an energized ride into the heart of electronic soundscapes.
