Sebastian Lobato Sevilla a.k.a Leon Lobato is a producer / musician from Mexico with more than 8 years of experience, in different musical genres, working as a guitarist and pianist and with 2 years fully in the deep / organic house genre.

His sound is characterized by deep dark atmospheres and sometimes organic tones that always try to capture a different emotion in each song.

With the style, sound and ideas, he has become one of the young promises of elite deep house.

With several releases around the world, on labels such as Sound Avenue, Seven Villas, The Purr and Where The Heart Is which was released on vinyl and CD.

He has collaborated with European producers such as Pedro Capelossi (ESP) and Davka (Fr), in addition to being remixed by artists such as George X, Gastom and Cocho.

The two came together in late 2019, Chris commissioned Mariner for a remix. Since that time the two hit it off and decided to start Mariner + Domingo. In less than a year, they have managed to release over 15 records that went to the top 10 on labels Balkan Connection, The Purr, Stellar Fountain, 3rd Ave, Sound Avenue, If you wait, Massive Harmony, One Of A Kind, RYNTH and many others. With a career spanning 15 years Dave Juric is a true multi-genre specialist. Known for his expertly-crafted warm up sets for progressive heavyweights like Henry Saiz, Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Oliver Schories & Danny Howells he has proven is equally adept at priming the dance floor for house and techno artists like James Zabiela, Patrice Baumel, Stacey Pullen, Thomas Schumacher, Matthias Meyer & Metodi Hristov.

The last few years has he also expanded is repertoire incorporating more driving, peak time sounds into his sets. These days you’re now just as likely to see him closing nightclubs across Melbourne taking audiences into the early hours of the morning with his now signature sound of rolling progressive and tripped out techno.

Alongside a hugely successful career as a club DJ, he has also been booked to perform at renowned festivals Rainbow Serpent (2015 - Sunset Stage, 2017 - Market Stage, 2018, 2019 – Chill Stage), Esoteric, Lost Paradise (NSW), Subsonic (NSW), Babylon, Tell No Tales, Electric Gardens, Summadayze & Let Them Eat Cake.

Welcome back to our podcast series!

We are very pleased to have extremely talented, Romanian dj/producer @rielro as our narrator for the 101 episode.

Born in Galati, Riel is an independent DJ but also an electronic music producer, he began his career in early 2007, influenced by sounds like house, disco and funk. Since its inception tube a good response from his audience and this helped him to be characterized by his immense charisma and energy at the time of their presentations. After years of activity as a DJ, he decided to try the electronic music producer scene. His musical culture at this time included a wide range of styles: Funk, Hip-Hop, Afro-beat and more speci cally House Music. Embodies the essence of tribal and afro sounds. He grew up in an atmosphere of african rhythms that he is authentically overlaying on house music. Armed with a plethora of percussive instruments, along with soul-awakening vocals recorded in various areas in Africa, he sprays the musical scene with his organic signature sound.

Set on a promontory, the artistic town is overlooking the mediterranean sea and is known for its blue and white houses. Different Ray's favorite cocktail, the Sidi Bou Kobsa, is named after one of the most beautiful towns in Tunisia.  

Tunisian producer and DJ Different Ray is  an eclectic selector and music producer whose musical journey draws upon multiple styles and sounds. He embarks in an artistic, tireless effort to offer a melodic trip to his deeper, more complex, and profound feelings.

His releases are featured on lables such as Hoomidaas, Poesie Musik, Art Vibes Music, Sound Avenue, Nie Wieder Schlafen.  His music has been played and supported by the likes of Nick Warren, Kora, Death On Balcony  Mark Slee, Nils Hoffmann and many more.

A little progressive trip to heaven 26 is purely nature inspired. On my first morning on my holiday in London I went for a walk to Victoria park. There I met a lady who recommended me to wonder around the beautiful canals. I took her advice. There I calmed down. I’m having this privilege to have a day off, walking here in our beautiful nature, listening music and thinking about my life. The weather was cloudy and grey, but the autumn leaves and graffitis kept the environment colorful and lively. Then I saw a baby looking at a bird and smiling, trying to tell her mother that he sees a bird. She understood and said smiling “Yes there’s a bird”. And there was a really cute eye contact between them two. Sharing this moment with each other. Then I understood that we don’t need words to tell about our excitement, and I’m going to try to tell you about my experience through music. Episode 26 “Walking by the canals”  here. Enjoy!
