Avarta Kiirtan is a beautiful kiirtan practice where the person does kiirtan facing all six directions (North, East, South, West, Above and Below). In this Avarta Kiirtan session I have recorded 6 six simple tunes that are easy to follow. With the beginning or each tune face a new direction. Once you again return to the north position ideate above you and below you for the last 2 tunes and endlessly flow in the Bliss of Baba Nam Kevalam.

Avarta Kiirtan Session

This is an energetic, live "Baba Nam Kevalam" Kiirtan recording led by Dada Madhuvidyananda. I was very fortunate to have had my first glimpse into the world of kiirtan through Dada Madhuvidyananda. I would say that it was his kiirtan that first inspired me to learn and practice Baba Nam Kevalam. Thanks Dada :-)

Akhanda Kiirtan led by Dada Madhuvidyananda

This kiirtan is the weaving of two worlds through sound. Japan with shakuhachi ornamentation as well as the arabic instruments and voice you can hear playing along side.
 
We weaved these elements together with Baba's mantra to create a kiirtan in dedication to the outer and inner struggle these two worlds are now undertaking and with deep knowing a rebirth on all levels
