This is the first Sol Asylum Reflections VA series that will be exclusively available on bandcamp. This digital VA is an adaption to the unsure and challenging times in our industry. This Collection of tracks is a mirror into the sol’s of our artists in this retrospection period.
We believe that now more than ever we must find ways to financially support our artists so they can continue to perfect their craft and stay motivated so SA is waving its earnings after expenses and will give 100 percent of the profit directly to the the artists involved in this project.

There seems to be something specific about house music that definitely lifts the mood when it's done well! Underground may be cool every now and then. But the tracks that give the right amount of energy often sound like Armand van Helden's "You don't know me" The track always takes me back to my club days in the Tresor/Globus before 2000 and my legs were probably more in the air than on the ground! :)

About me: I've been playing the keyboard since I was 16 and learned from Depeche Mode titles. And I know what it means to make music with an old Atari. My first tracks were released in 1992 and now I'm 48.

Ich bin an den Wochenenden als Akkordeonist/Keyboarder nach meiner Berufsausbildung und Bundeswehrzeit (Marine) in einer Tanz- und Unterhaltungsband ab 1995 eingestiegen und konnte von da an reichliche musikalische Erfahrungen in der Praxis im In-und Ausland parallel zu meinem Beruf sammeln. U.a. fanden auch zusätzliche CD-Produktionen im Tonstudio statt. Unsere musikalischen Aufträge  waren nicht nur im Rheinland (Köln/Bonner Raum) begrenzt, sondern erhielten auch zahlreiche Einladungen im Frankfurter Raum, im süddeutschen Raum bis nach Niederland, Österreich, Schweiz und in den USA. Die "Original Naafbachtalmusikanten" unter der Leitung von Heinz Rehring bei dem ich musikalisch mitwirken durfte, war unsere Band über die Jahre von der Gründung seit 1985 bis 2010 meistens an den Wochenenden ausgebucht. Bedingt durch die schwächelnde Auftragslage brachen die öffentlichen Auftritte spürbar seit 2010 ab.
