A new duo emerging on the scene in 2023, Metanoia have already been making waves on Eatbrain and Blackout & now Viper. Their label debut “Need This” is a strong start - no surprise considering the duo consists of scene veteran and longtime friend of Viper Smooth alongside Sven Wooga of the Slovenian Bass Fighters. Together, they have quickly garnered the respect of fellow DnB heads, and their latest single is set to be no exception. This single’s starpower is amped up even more with the addition of Marge on vocals, who has recently performed at Rampage, NOX, and Dour before releasing her debut EP on Abyssal Music last month.

Opening on an imminently ominous note, “Need This” transports us to a dystopian world with a nostalgic kick. As the track builds, Marge’s voice offers a much-needed ray of light and hope amidst the darker sound design, a juxtaposition that makes the track truly stand out.

SOLA is a Drum & Bass trio comprised of James, Robbie and Paul. They have releases on Eatbrain, Jungle Cakes, ProgRam, Suburban Base, Formation, Korsakov Music, Play Me, Nuusic, Dance Concept, Gorilla Warfare, Dub Damage, Deep In The Jungle, Riot Dubs, Boomslang, 24 Karat, Soul Deep, Headsbass, and their own imprint Grand Theft Audio.

After many singles and EPs, their debut album Stars Align, released on Grand Theft Audio in September 2022 to widespread critical acclaim. The promo journey for the LP landed them an upload on UKF Drum & Bass as well as an interview for UKF with Dave Columbo Jenkins and a guestmix for Mollie Collins on Kiss FM.

They hit 2023 running with high profile EP and Single releases on Korsakov Music, Play Me, Boomslang & Formation, which have seen them receiving support from as far afield as Pendulum, Sub Focus & Ray Keith. In April, they won the DJ Rap remix competition against 658 other entries and in May they released the remix album Stars Realigned on GTA, including the anthemic Cliques remix of Pico De Gallo.

In August and September, they did their first tour outside of Europe with performances in Canada, USA, Vietnam & Australia and are currently planning an extended US & Canada tour for 2024, a year which so far has seen them release on legendary labels like Eatbrain, Jungle Cakes and Suburban Base, as well as netting a second UKF upload for Gulf Stream w/ K Jah on Grand Theft Audio.

Their sets are a fast-paced and unpredictable with an emphasis on crowd reaction and stacked to the brim with tracks that won't be heard anywhere else for months, sometimes years, as well as fan favourites from their back catalogue.
